Anyone using or heard of Boost Mobile phones?
Where you at?
Heard of them from some older commercials with Rap stars. Not sure how good they are, but mostly seemed like a pre-paid or paygo type system geared toward youth or people who can't afford a contract. Not saying it isn't any good, but I would be a bit leary.

Word to wise stay as far away from them as possible, hardly any network coverage and text messages take 5-10 minutes to recieve, 30% of the time they dont come in and once you get it you have to dowload them which takes up to five minutes. Same applies to sent messages
My friend has boost so thats how I know this

Looking for flat rates? mycricket.com, they don't have service in my area, the whole effing state in missing on their coverage map.
Forget this, when you go close on their coverage map, lucky it they cover two cities in the whole state of Washington.

BTW, Sprint also apparently purchased Virgin Mobile, so the pre-paid carriers are getting gobbled up now. Tracfone uses the Verizon network; IDK if Verizon owns a piece of it or not.

Yeah, it runs on the old Nextel iDen network. The coverage around here is horrible. Even when Nextel was at its peak before Sprint bought them out it was pretty bad. But they are the pre paid division of Nextel. Buddy of mine has them. Crappy service, but he gets unlimited talk text and data for $50 a month.
damn egg what rock you been hiding under? Boost has been out for years. One of my friends has them, for his cell provider. Im not sure how much he pays or anything. If I was going to get a new provider I would go with metropcs. 4 phones with unlimited min for $100 a month. I think you ca break the plan down to $25 a month for one phone, however I'm not sure about that.
the wife is using Metro PCS, $30/mo unlimited everything, even email. Killing my Verizon phone soon and getting one of them also, since I have the work Blackberry I don't even need a $70/mo bill. Service has been pretty good, texts come thru and go out quickly.

sometimes at your expense. The "Where you at?" line was from their commercials.
I just noticed you posted "where you at" ahead of me.
