Anyone use CS2 with Vista?

It's slow as HELL. I'm not sure if it's my version that I obtained. *wink *wink*, but it runs super slow. Specs I have, duo with 1GB ram. Maybe CS2 is not compatible with Vista? Maybe it's just Vista. Anyone else have this problem? Drop downs take forever, moving around things takes minutes as well. I don't have any added plugins added, so I'm not sure exactly what the problem is... hmmm... I wonder if 7.0 would be better... PM me if you have any "advice" on photoshop 7.0.

Adobe all but says that CS2 and Vista is a no go. I can't imagine PS 7 being any better. I would recommend putting your "acquisition efforts" into the CS3 beta.

I've used Photoshop CS2 many times in Vista and haven't had a single problem, except for it runs in the aero basic looks it won't run in full Aero. I've also noticed that the Aero basic look is confined to the Photoshop application and doesn't spread to the other open applications, this is different than the other applications which will put the whole OS in basic mode. I don't think it's a problem from where your got your version from cause I probably got it from the same place *wink *wink!!

EDITh, make sure you go to the adobe site and manually download the newest version of adobe updater I think it's version 4.0.4 since it will work with vista unlike the version that my CS2 came with.
