Anyone know a cheap/free way to get Excel?

I'm not looking for anything illegal, just a cheaper or possibly free way to get Excel, maybe even a limited trial I can re-use? I downloaded a 60-day trial and it just ran out.

For my personal use of Excel, I just use OpenOffice (Calc) and have no problems.

I have a work report I need to review, and always do a Pivot Table for it. For the life of me I can't get the DataPilot (same thing) to work properly in the OpenOffice version. It's WAY easier and quicker in Excel.

Anyone have any ways I can get the program to use? OR possibly have a good tutorial for DataPilots? It never seems to work the way I need it.

Thanks!

See if you qualify for the $10 version: http://www.microsofthup.com/hupus/ho...&country_id=US

More info here: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1251784/

If not, there's also the web version (though it's limited on features): http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/web-apps/

Have you looked at Libreoffice (http://www.libreoffice.org/)? Although I have no personal experience with it, my son has used it for a number of years and I can't believe some of the spreadsheets he has built.

I have the disk and codes for Office 2007... never been opened. If interested, PM me and we'll figure a way to get it to you and back to me.

I've been installing this shit manually for at least a year. It requires Vista SP1 or newer...

and does not work on windows 8! Though there maybe an update to Click-to-run you can install before running Word or Excel for the first time that will make it work.

Office starter won't do the pivot tables, which is one of OP's requirements.
