anyone has a mitsubishi projection television
anyone here have a mitsubishi projection television
i purchased the 51'' sony widescreen from conns but they shipped my tv to san antonio. so after screaming at the manager he said i can have the floor model and he will send me a new one when he gets another. i did also like the 55''widescreen mitsu so i got him to give me the 2800 mitsu at the 2500 sony price. i have read some reviews on the web but i want to know if anyone has had a mitsu projection telvision for a long time, and has had good luck with it. i am very pleased so far but its only been a week. the damn thing did weigh almost 300lbs and was a total bittch goin up the stairs
I have a 51'' Sony HDTV ready tv and I absolutely love it. I was going for the 43'' HDTV (the rectangle one) but there was a huge sticker on the box stating playing video games and or watching normal tv (not HDTV signal) for more than 50% of the viewing time can damage the picture tube. Even though I got the warranty for free (for 5 years) I still couldn't bring myself to purchase it. oh well....maybe my next tv

I've had the Mits 55807 for almost a year now and no problems. Get yourself a set-up DVD to calibrate the settings - it made a big difference in the picture.
ArN 2000 TL - I know why video games can harm the picture but what damage would a normal TV signal do?

i read the whole book on mine and they say, you should view everything in widescreen and try to limit the BLACK BARS. make sure the whole telvision screen is filled with constant moving parts

Intigration wise Sony seems like they have to do everything backward from everybody else.
And "smart" features like if you run one component video in RCA cable, and another in S-video the TV sees the S-video and ignores the RCA
...etc
Mit's is supposed to be the sheit in the HDTV market.

Does anyone that has an HD Projection TV (letterbox style) play Xbox or PS2 on it much? I hear that you don't have to worry like we did back in the old days when you weren't supposed to play them on regular projector TVs. I just want to make sure there's no worries.
