Anybody w/Treo 600 & Sprint service?

Does anybody here has this phone w/ Sprint service and the bluetooth access card? If so, where did you get it & how much? Is it working properly? Any help will be appreciated.

I have a treo 600 but there's no bluetooth card that works with the TL which is pissing me off. Oh well, looks like I'll have to switch phones to use the bluetooth.

Did Sprint told you this? I was told by Sprint that I could get any third party bluetooth access card on this phone and it will work with any bluetooth equiped vehicle. Otherwise, I'll be very pissed off too as I spent $450 on a phone that will not work with the TL.

Techically speaking, it should work but I've done a lot of searching around and all I've heard is that the cards do not work. Also from what I've read the feeling is that there will not be a card that will work.

I doubt it. Sadly, alot of company's employees don't know the ends and outs of their own products let alone whether they work with others. If you call a company that you have some type of service/business with and ask them a question, you're almost sure to get a different answer from someone else if you call back and ask the same question to someone else.

Just because it's bluetooth enabled doesn't mean it supports all bluetooth profiles. Check if the card supports the Handsfree profile, if it doesn't, it won't work.

I too have the treo and sprint and though it does have an sdio slot there is not currently one that is bluetooth. I really wanted the t 608 motorola bluetooth but decided the treo works as an internet and email device better than any other phone and will wait/hope that a bluetooth sdio card does come out.

Go to www.acura-cl.com and pm kensteele. He works for Spint in product development. He will be able to tell you.

It doesn't matter which Treo you have. I have mine sitting in the center console now -- and the V600 for Bluetooth. I have talked with Palm and they have said they have NO plans to make the Treo work with a Bluetooth card. I'm just curious -- but what is the point of a company coming out with a cool toy and then not supporting what they put on just about every other device they make??? Coffee Talk anyone???
