Nokia today unveiled the 7610. A 1 megapixel model with video camera.

The 7610 is Nokias addition to the pixel-race. One megapixel correspond to 1152 x 864 pixels image resolution. The camera phone has a 4x digital zoom and are able to take up to 10 minutes of video clips.

okay 1.3 means the pictures are bigger and hold more pixel information, but that does not necessarily mean the pictures are BETTER, there are plenty of 3 or 4 MP cameras that look shittier then 2 MP camera...
my question is: how are these going to look?

 

Camera phone pictures are not "there" yet. Neither will be the 1.3s nor the 2s.

 

You remember 1.3mp digicams right? They looked, decent. But, pretty bad by today's terms... so...... go figure.

 

Yeah, there is a reason that deent digital cameras are the size they are. It takes mucho components to process quailty images.
