i picked the pistons to win the east, but i'm happy the cavs made it out. I hope they win the whole thing, but if I were putting money on it, i'd put it on the spurs.
the only joy I can have if the spurs win would be horry getting his 7th ring. no one has gotten over 6 since like the late 60's early 70's. and isn't he retiring after this year or something?

god i hope the cavs win to shut my annoying chatty coworker up.
here's this 42 year old single female who doesn't stop talking about the spurs. funny thing is, she's born and raised in houston, worked in san antonio for a couple of years after graduating college, and now she's a die-hard spurs fan.
blah blah blah. spurs this, spurs that. dynasty this, dynasty that.
of course after i said they can't be considered a dynasty unless they win three in a row, and in fact, the real challenge is defending the championship, which they failed to do. then on top of that, their first championship was in the lockout-shortened season against the #8 seeded knicks!
then she shut up. for a few minutes, at least.
