UFC 82: Silva v Hendo ... good matchup!
I think this will be A.Silva's toughest opponent yet.
Hendo took Rampage to a 5-round decision and really gave him a handfull.
Now he's 20 lbs. lighter (and hopefully not sapped).
He'll take it right to A.Silva and give him a handful.
I think this has the makings of a great fight and the matchup is very intriguing.
I'll still call Silva for the win...I just think his head's on straight and he's in a league of his own right now.

This is the card I have been most interested in a while. Hendo is a great fighter but I believe Silva is just better all around and has more tools to win.
Hendo likes to bang and take a punch but I do not think he can take many strikes from Silva as he would from anyone else. If this goes into the later rounds it would be interesting to see how Silva holds up although I doubt it will go past 3.
In the end I see Silva winning by submission as I think Hendo will probably try to take this to the ground when he realizes he is being out striked.
Overall great card though. Sucks the Arlovski, Koscheck or Sanchez fights are not going to be televised.

Dan is the all american icon, alot of people would love to see him win. He is an absolute brute in the ring. Can't wait to see this one either. I call Silva tho, winning by points, with the fight going to decision and Dan just not able to get his way with the crafty silva.

Im a big Silva fan, and as much as I want him to win tonight, I really think Dan will take it. Im also hoping that Chiek (sp?) Kongo is going to beat the shit out of Heath Herring.

I think Silva's maxed out at weight. He has a skinny frame and is not as strong as fellow middleweights IMO. But he is the best pound for pound UFC fighter.
Now we get no fights till April. Any WEC events this month?

I strongly believe a rematch with Okami will be Silva's next fight. After that it would be great for the UFC to put together a super fight with Silva vs GSP to crown the P4P best fighter only if GSP gets past Serra.
WEC event the 26th of the month with two title fights (rematch of Filho vs Sonnen). After that reruns on HDNet or possibly some IFL before UFC Fight Night.
