Tour De France

Anyone going to follow the tour on OLN 7/3-25 and see if Lance can win 6?

It'll be a tough tour. His TT loss at Dauphiné Libéré was troubling. He turned his best time ever and still got smoked.
Ullrich, Tyler, Mayo, Basso, Heras it'll be really tough to win this year but at least he won't have to deal w/Vino. On the positive side he's been in Europe for a while training and he's got a strong team. It'll be a different and better Lance this year than last.

I love Jan Ullrich, I think he's a tremendously strong rider, and if anyone can give Lance a run, it would be him.

Aren't they doing the Lance Cronicles or something on OLN at night? I have been watching and it is rather interesting how he trains and just keeps going...

I need to ride to get some more calorie burning in, but I live in South Jersey where it is as flat as pancake face.

I'm about halfway done with this in the CD Audio version -

You will not believe what this guy has gone through and then some. Then... to come back and win the Tour de France !!!! Speechless.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but I'm a big fan of cycling and Lance Armstrong.

I'm totally addicted to watching the tour this year. I try to catch at least an hour every night on OLN.

Tonight's race is pretty boring, but the Team event was awesome yesterday. US Postal looks REALLY strong this year

The coverage was pretty weak today. They would show 5 minutes of racing, then go into commercials, highlights of previous races or info on the racers. I got bored so I didn't watch the entire thing, so I probably missed out.

What I did watch was that US Postal was about 15 minutes back for most of the race. I know there were a few crashes, but I missed most of them. Usually the long distance 200+km legs of the race bore me. I like the sprints or hill climbs.

I'm just a lil pissed about the allegations made my Lemond. I think he's jealous. Its funny how all this stuff comes out during the season, not off.

That was a totally dick thing to do. I definitely sense a little bit of jealousy there
