Tennis: 2010 Wimbledon Championships Discussion Thread

N. Mahut vs J Isner

4 6 7 6 45
6 3 6 7 46

I think its beat every record except the shortest game. Longest match, longest set, most aces, most winners.

The John Isner-Nicolas Mahut match has been suspended because of darkness at 59-all in the fifth set.

62-61 Isner. This is the only time you will see me root for a person or team from UGA.

I would think after a while that you would start to take some chances, like faking your opponent out after a net run or something to that effect. Worked for me when I played.

It looks like each one gives up on their serve returns. One smokes their serve and the other just lets it go or barely tries to return.

It's over! Isner will probably lose his next match, but at least beat out Frenchie!

Isner's next match was a loss and one of the quickest of the year. Funny.
