well i just watched it on TV.. i honestly thought the russian chicks was better, even with the small stumble, who the commentators said she wouldnt be deducted that much for.
also they did say her degree of difficulty was the highest among everyone.
Yuna wouldve had to have scored her personal best to win
and i guess techincal > artistic, and they mentioned that Kim's program was more technical in Van
ohh and this?

no, winners of both semi final games go on to the gold medal match.
winner gets
loser gets
losers of the semi final matches are playing for
loser gets 4th place.

I gotta say, maybe it's the time zone thing and NBC's horrible live coverage, but I watched 2/3 less Winter Olympics this time around as compared to Vancouver.
or perhaps Sochi games were lackluster.

I watched way more this time than Vancouver.
NBC even said they'll be airing more hours this Olympics.
And definitely the time zone thing for us, when we wake up west coast, they're ending their day over there.
But I did catch a few things live

..oh and now that it has been TWO Olympic games.....can the next one be in a place that actually has snow on the ground?!?!?!??!
It's the Winter Games for crying out loud!!!
You would think they would have factored this kind of stuff into the selection process.
meh....I forgot it's all about $$$, hookers, and blow for who gets the games

I bet some athletes will get scared to participate because they aren't sure if it's being hosted by S. Korea or N. Korea.
