What US channel is the canada hockey game going to be on?

 

Did you guys see this vid? This kid performed the speech from Miracle on video and was eventually invited to meet the US team before the US vs. Canada game. I just saw him interviewed on Sportscenter. He's awesome!

In America the games are all on CNBC which is fine with me because I have CNBC HD, but for some odd stupid fucking reason they showed the USA-Canada game only on MSNBC which I and most everyone doesn't have HD. I think the rest of the games should be on CNBC though, hopefully...

 

shoulda had the usa/canada game on nbc. would have been a great way for hockey exposure here.

i was VERY surprised it wasn't. everyone was hyping it up. even guys on espn radio, who never talk about hockey.

many folks don't have cable, and with practically everyone having HD on local channels....i guess it just makes too much sense.

i'm no hockey fan, and i've only watched full games (matches?) during olympics when the u.s. is involved. i'm sure there are many like me. (i'm a diehard soccer fan, and like hockey, it's not a popular sport here. yet, many will watch the u.s. during the world cup.)

i dunno what was on nbc instead during that timeslot. i suppose nbc thought that would get more ratings?

by the way, little girl bloodied her nose from spinning so quickly.

 

I think they just said the USA/Swiss game tomorrow is on NBC and the Russia/Canada one is back on CNBC.

 

i'll watch.

but ironically, i'd rather see the russia/canada game on hd on nbc.

Pause, but I don't expect it to happen again. The NHL is claiming it does nothing postive for the league.

 

The US game is on USA Network 3-5pm.

How will playing two consecutive nights affect the Canada ice hockey team? I know ice hockey games are often played consecutive days, but I'd think Russia would be more rested.
