Varitek just tied it up

does anyone else feel that Mariano is "losing" is stuff, or the rest of the League is just learning how to hit it?

Well, Mo survived on one pitch -- the cut fastball. Batters, after seeing it enough, will start hitting it.

I thought he still did ok with the rest of the league ?? I know the Sox have gotten to him before, but I was under the impression that he was still ok with everyone else.

he's lost a little velocity and movement on his cut fastball over the past few years. It's not much but enough to make a difference

I have the guy next to me in my office up in arms because I said Jeetaahh's better than Nomaahh. He says Jeter's the most overrated player ever, and that he happened to be on World Series Championship teams.

Wicked pissah!!

Did you mention to him that the Sox won the World Series only AFTER Nomah left?

I most certainly did. He doesn't believe the Ewing Theory, though.

Nomar's a good player, but Jeter makes plays that don't show up in the stats.

I shouldn't rag on Nomar too much, either, cuz he's a good ballplayer, but...

Jeter dives into the seats and breaks his face to catch a foul ball.

Nomar hides in the dugout during a brawl.

Besides, Nomar's married to a Tar Heel.

I'm waiting for Schilling to come back. But it's nice to go up 2-0 on the Sox after two games.

The fellas down by the harbor call me fresh, especially after a couple of squirts of glade under the old transom.
