@ FatJoe 7th inning segment.
I'm from the Bronx, NY too
and our house had grass 30'X20' slab
SHit if Fat Joe says we are going to win the World Series, then the other teams better just "lay back."

My brother in law has become seriously pissed off.
I just called him and all he would say is (heavy Boston accent) "I don't give a fuck...who has the rings? Eh? Who has the FUCKING rings?"
The Pats might win the damn Super Bowl every year but this will happen before the Bo Sox win the WS again.

Tell him, the Yankees have the Rings...Half the team has at least 2...1/3 of them have 4 rings.
And the Yankees franchise has 20 more than the Red Sox Franchise
Thats who has the rings.
I'll call him for you if you want. Remind him of a little history.

It's funny: First, Red Sox fans get a huge inferiority complex for always choking. Then, they win ONE World Series in 86 years, and now they have a superiority complex.

TL: completely Don't forget to mention how the Yankees sucked all the years they were winning, and now they suck too; that they lost
Oh yeah, and don't forget that the Yankees BUY their teams...even though the recent 4 world Seriest they have won...they had similar salaries to the Top 5 teams.
And that Curt schilling came up through the Boston Farm system, they didn't buy him at all...

Of course, I'll be the first one to say the Sox kicked our asses -- not to mention the Cardinals -- last year, and deserved to win.
But don't give me the Yankees buy their World Series BS. They do, but without Schilling and Foulke, the Sox wouldn't have won either.
Man, this year is going to be good. I can't wait to see the first game at Fenway.

It was a good start but its only the 1st game..I'm not concerned at all about April..The main concern is October. I did love last nights whipping and complete Red Sox failure in handling The Big Unit. Bases loaded for Jeter a little dribbler to the pitcher and the moron lets it go between his legs...Memories of 86 anyone??

The Red Sox have lost their last 5 openers. I'm not concerned.
One game in April does not a season make. All the Yanks fans getting excited already is funny. Let's see how the teams are doing at the All-Star break.
Red Sox are still the champs until October. Don't forget that.

I don't think Yankees fans are getting any more excited than Boston fans would have, if they won last night.
Actually if Boston won last night, all you would have heard, all night long; was crap from them.

I was there....Had a blast!, I wasn't dressed for it. I froze my FL behind off, & got soaking wet. The game was so cool. Everyone was all over Wells. Alot of sellout chants. Giambi & Tino got such a HUGE reaction. Some drunk guys by me tried to start a "Who's your daddy" chant when Wells was pulled. Not sure if it caught on. Missed getting 2 fly balls... Godzilla stealling the home run was great. Topping it off with his HR made the night. The Yankee's looked GREAT last night. Took over an hour to get out of the stadium & onto the 4 train. That sucked.....I'm happy I could be a part of it though. It was my first home opener game. The Sox I think are in the same position the Yankee's were in last year with their pitching. They still have a great offfense though.

It's a long season... The Sox just need to get into the playoffs... The Yanks should win the division, with the Sox trailing right behind. I'll start worrying at the end of August.
I think we got blown out on opening day last year by Tampa...
