No the 3 teams that the Steelers beat on the road in the playoffs combined to be 19-3 at home during the regular season. This means that they are a tough home team and to beat 3 of them in a row in very impressive.

Actually they played 29 games so far.. Crazy schedule..

I think he meant the teams the Steelers beat to get to the Superbowl on the road.. Beat teams with a combined home record of 19-3.. I haven't heard that stat and can't confirm.. Too tired to look..

The only decent team you beat at home was the Colts, Atlanta + Dallas aren't that strong this year and of course the Cardinals, Texans and 49ers are superb!

The steelers were 11-5 this season... btw they aren't my team, Falcons sucked this year, but I still don't think the Seahawks are that dominant

Obviously I wouldn't have said it if it weren't in Cleveland. And they were 6-10.. there best win was 20-10 over the Bears

The ODDS are against us.. The first time a #6 seed has made it this far and no wildcard has ever won the SB winning all road games.

And like I said, even before the Steelers played Denver and before the Hawks played the Panthers the line was no matter who won AFC -3..

Ok so we're 1-1/2 point underdogs. plus the 3 you guys get for homefield advantage. So its 4-1/2. Too bad the games not in a true nuetral field, like in texas ar somewhere. Admitatley there will be a 10 to 1 pittsburg to seattle fan base, as you guys are only 5 hours away by road. From what i here its mostley pittsburg people in detroit.

Trust me it would be that way no matter.. Steeler fans are truely die hard..

All the experts have been saying the Steelers best traveled team in the NFL. You should have seen the Steelers @ Texans this year.. It had to be 50/50..

guess seattle should've tried a little harder when the super bowl was scheduled in San Diego a few years ago.... when they were supposed to be good.

I'm just wary of the powers that be around here

My teams are the Giants (except for stupid Eli) and the Colts, I really don't care who wins this game, I just want to see Bettis get his championship.

His only championship will be at the dinner table. Why is he so deserving of a championship?

I didn't say he was deserving.... he's deserving if his team wins the game on Sunday... I just said I'd like to see him win one before he retires.

oh wouldn't that be america's cinderella story Bettis comes home to detroit in his last year & wins his Championship. Its the story dreams are made out of.

He's just Damn lucky, when he fumbled that ball @ the 3 @ indy, that his quarterback made that shoestring tackle or he'd be on suicide watch. How big was that play!!

don't get me started on a stupid cornerback that can't shake a Roethlisberger tackle, or outrun him to the sideline

Anyway, you can't hate on Bettis just because you're a seattle fan, he's one of the classy guys in this league, and you couldn't ask for a better teammate. Thats why I root for him. Either way, I still think the steelers will win (no matter where the game is played).

Ya i thought that would get you stired up being an indy fan. That would have been a miraculas comeback, if dude just would have come to the right for a sure T.D. Your right Bettis is a class act. I'm just trying to hate the steelers @ the present time. Nothing personal. I've been a seahalk fan since 1980, & i just want this so damn bad. Seattle has always been Jinxed when it comes to championships. I moved here in 79 & the only real championships have been the sonics in 79, when i didn't give a shit & the Huskies who shared a championship with Miami, Pretty Sad! All i can say is Go Hawks!!!

Bettis' fumble should have never happened...we all know, even the NFL that the Polamalu interception should have been ruled an interception.

all I can say is good luck. What I really hope for is a great game, none of this 42-14 stuff. Seattle has it's cinderella stories too. Considering that a lot of people have picked them to be here the last few years, it's hard to know if things will be the same next year for you guys.

I definatley agree with you there. That was by far the worst call i have ever seen. The only explanation i could come up with on that one, was the refs brain-farted when it came down to the rule book on that. Was there ever a final explanation on that play from the refs & or the NFL? It still has me scratchin my head.
