Michigan FINALLY climbed back into the top 10.

Now all we can hope for is Iowa or Michigan State to beat Wisconson.

Michael Hart is a stud (RB for Mich). He really didnt play the 1st 2 games, and he is already in the top 10 as far as rushing yards, and he's only a freshman. I say next year Michigan contends for the title, but maybe thats being optimistic, I dunno.

YEAAHH right...

You're telling me Oklahoma deserves second...yeah tough schedule and all but they BARELY beat an A&M team that the Utes STOMPED...we could waste at LEAST two of those top teams....and since certain leagues who won;t have their champs even finish in the top 15 or so are guaranteed bids....

All I'm saying is this: Wisconsin is 9-0. Their last loss? to Auburn in the Music City Bowl, last year. Auburn is 11-0 since last season. Our last loss? to UGA. Who do we play this weekend? UGA. What's the most pivotal game of the year? UGA vs. Auburn. It's going to be pretty sad at the end of the season if there are four undefeated teams...

You should not have even needed your second wind...

Utah would DESTROY The ACC and Big East champs, whoever they may end up being.

They would likely destroy Oklahoma, who BARELY beat A&M...they would lay waste to Texas, they killed Cal last year to start the win streak, and would again if they played this year...etc etc. Hell Texas BARELY beat Missouri.

If the Utes get the Fiesta bowl bid, they will lay waste to West Virginia(the likely big least winner)...a team that does not even belong there.

I would love to see a Utah vs. Oklahoma matchup...(in the sugar bowl?) if Auburn were to jump OU and play USC in the Orange...A Utah team that's hungry vs. an OU team that's trying to hold on...great matchup!!!

momentum, that would be a sweet day indeed, but it won't happen. Now we just need A&M to beat those Longhors posing there at #5...talk about impostors (sp?)

Who do the Stoopid Sooners play this week? Hopefully a team that can beat them, and show the world how overrated they are. As if the last few weeks have not done that already.

Oh yeah...also, GameDay is here Saturday bishes...should I go and see if I can tell Lee Corso how much of a rabid frothing maniac he is to his face, even though I couldn't get tickets for the game.

Damn losers camping out and shit taking all the seats...hey...guys...try going to class.

you really believe that the UTES are better than TEXAS , are you kidding dude ur lil P.O.S. confernce doesn't hold a candle to BIGXII. XII south has Ok-State, Texas, OU, and Texas A&M, all top 25!! who the hell does some shitty moutian west conf. have that could step up to us.... NO ONE. I said it once I'll say it again, Utes are this years TCU, a joke to make other I-A schools feel like they have a shot.. Utah will be killed regardless who they play in a bowl...

Ok, Texas went into KU not really expecting to have to work this hard, but they did, 4th & 18 and we made it, thats skills SON!! also, Cedric Benson (who i know well) should not be overlooked as a serious contender for Heisman, no one realises his numbers are better than petersons...(cadillac williams should get respect too)

- rushing yards|yards per carry|TD's|scoring
Benson 1599|5.9|18|114
peterson 1431|5.6|9|54

just to name a few!

We got A&M in 2 weeks and its in Austin, so keep praying that A&M beats us cause praying is ur only hope, reggie will be shut down!!!!

my point is this, Utah fans, its time to get serious, let the big boys get on with their adult business...

Dude 4th and 18 is Kansas' D sucking, and you needed that. That is the truly sad part, they suck that bad to let you convert on a run, and you NEEDED that to happen to win? Right...yeah, that's a scary ass team.

You best believe that we would whoop your ass, AND we have a legit Heisman candidate, the guy who should win it next year if he keeps this up in Alex Smith.

Whatcha gonna do if we bust the BCS and when we expose our Fiesta Bowl opponent?

The BCS is bullshit, and I maintain that the Utes can compete with any school above them, save USC or Auburn, but those two could beat some NFL teams.

That non-conference schedule sure isn't helping much in the eyes of the voters, I guess.

I know a lot of people like to say it becasue it sounds good, but I will say for the record -

NO high school team could EVER beat a college team in the three major sports - baseball, football and basketball.

Likewise, NO college team could EVER beat a professional team in any of those three sports.

Do no underestimate the difference between high school, college and the pros. You are talking about hundreds of thousands of highschool athletes filtering down to thousands of college atheletes filtering down to hundreds of professional atheletes. The speed and power are completely differnet and NFL rookies (good ones) will tell you all the time how faster the game is - and how harder they hit. The lowly Dolphins and Niners still have the experience, athletic ability, and conditioning advantage over any college team to completely crush them. No matter how you look at it, the worst NFL team still has the best of the college crop, where as the top college teams will get maybe 10 kids into the pros. The competition is also completely different. Good college team look good becasue on any given saturday they are competing against atheletes who on the average are only the top 6,000 in the country. The NFL every Sunday you are competing against the top 2,000 or so in the country. Big difference.

It's complete bullshit. Bowling Green pulled out on Auburn, and we scheduled the Citadel for one of those 'once every 3 years' deal...who gives a flying F about the non-conference schedule anyway? that shouldn't matter. Auburn beat three top 10 (at the time) teams this year including last year's defending champs LSU, and all three of those top 10 teams are still in the top 25, including the dawgs, who are 7 and 8...Oklahoma hung 35 on Baylor...shit UAB hung 56 and didn' t let them score! So why does OU's win look more impressive than a win in a huge intrastate RIVAL, Same-Conference, Same-Division win? it's . and I hope Auburn, Utah and Boise State are all undefeated at the end of the year just so the BCS will crumble.

WHat's bullshit is that Boise State can go to the Rose Bowl even if Cal wins it's final game and finishes #4. Boise State - a good team - but they almost lost to San Jose State in triple over time while CAL...almost beat USCin it's only loss.

I hope Utah goes to a BCS game and is slaughtered. (No offense, Art. )

I also hope OU loses the Big XII championship, which is unlikely, as it will be playing either Iowa State or Colorado.

Maybe Notre Dame and/or UCLA can help Auburn by beating USC. I can't believe I have to root for Notre Dame.

Thanks Pete But its not gonna happen. We'll go and if we lose, it won't be a killing. With jobs at Florida, and potentially Notre Dame on the line, Urban will make sure his team shows up.

Unfortunately, if they do, he will be gone by the end of next year at the latest.

Momentum, we already ARE undefeated. We finished off BYU Saturday, and that means 11-0.

Why you gotta hate on the BCS busters anyway? Just cause that's money out of the big school's pockets...

that's true, I didn't realize Utah was finished with their season. We've still got a championship game left but our regular season is complete too. I'm not hating on the BCS busters, I think the BCS as a whole blows. Also, being a member of a non-bcs conference does not mean that you can't have an undefeated season, it just means that your conference as a whole does not bring to the table what a major conference does in terms of attendance, money, etc. And conferences change, per last year with the ACC shift. It's nothing against Utah, it just means Utah has grown up and is ready to move on to bigger things...

^ Very true....we could hold our own IMHO in the Pac 10.

That said, there should be a playoff, the BCS is bullshit all the way. A playoff where any team that does well enough to get there can win would be the best. The "best" team does not always play in the title game/series by default in basketball or any other sport, why only in college football? (Of course, you can respond with, "Its the money stupiid.")

I say put each conference winner in, and then 4 more teams to round out to 16, if there are other deserving teams, then add a couple weeks to the season, maybe kill a bye week or start earlier, or something...

I think the plus 1 solution is better. that way you still have the best 4 teams in the nation and the winner of the top two bowls plays a second game to determine the national champ. that way the entire season is still 100% crucial to win every game and the polls are involved. Deciding who the top four teams is usually alot easier than deciding the top 2. And then hopefully we'll never have more than one undefeated team at the end of each season...provided there are only 4 undefeated teams at the start of the bowl games...

hmm didnt miss much ....

yes auburn is getting the shaft. but they should be #2.

See how it feels auburn? just like USC felt last year. The worst. BCS is only driven by money and does not help out the game of college football. A lot of the non bcs conferences have a lot of good teams which are better than say some of the bcs conference teams. Should just forget the pre season rankings and then start using coaches and media polls with computer that do not take into account the media exposure by just using strength of schedule based on numbers and of course wins and losses.

start it week 7 after the midway point in the season.

Thats it...

I dont believe ur seriously going to root for notre dame... see you at the game... college game day again baby! "representatives from the bcs conferences, and notre dame met with bcs officials today" they think they are special...
