Anyone have thoughts about Tony Kornheiser(only 3rd non-sport playing anouncer for Monday Night).........I think he knows more sports than Dennis Miller but doesn't have the flair of Howard Cossel.

In my non-AZ fantasy league...

Should I start McNabb vs the Giants at home or McNair vs the Texans at home?

Tricky... I say McNabb, just because I think the D will be doing most of the scoring for the Ravens.

It's actually Jerramy Stevens choking under the pressure and foot steps of Joey Porter..

McNair is playing Oakland not the Texans.

I'm just scared of the Giant's defense.

Same difference.

I still say go w/McNabb. His upside > McNair's, and he'll probably step it up against a division rival. Plus, he likes to throw a lot of little screen passes to Westbrook, who has a pretty good track record against NY. McNabb's passing yardage may not be the most conventional, but it still counts!

Westbrook might be out this week or at least not be at 100%

Even if he's out, I'd still go with McNabb over McNair, but I seriously doubt he'll sit.

Ok, my turn to ask the questions!

In my non-AZ league, who should I start as a 3rd (flex) RB, Mike Bell (home vs KC) or Laurence Maroney (@ Jets)?

Also, in the same league, which WR should I start if TJ Houshyermomma doesn't play again - Reggie Brown (home vs Giants) or Matt Jones (home vs Pitt)?

Thanks Jonesi.... yeah, I know about the thumb. But they're saying he's fine to "participate fully" this week, whatever the hell that means in Shanahan's twisted mind. Common sense tells me to go with Maroney, but I keep seeing Bell doing that goal-line leap, Walter Payton-style, from last week, and I get the feeling he's gonna be a TD vulture on Sunday at the very least. That's my dilemma...

Ok, so what about the WRs??

Maroney vs the Jets..

I like Matt Jones this year and he had a good game last week.. Plus Troy Polamalu may not play this week although I think Ike Taylor is one of the top corners in the league..

But I think Stallworth may find himself in double coverage and I see alot of focus on their TE Smith which might be leaving Brown more available..

Thanks again! I will most likely start Brown over Jones, cause like you said, Stallworth will probably get more attention from the D now..... plus I still think he's an inconsistent, occasional-one-week-wonder type mofo, just like he was with the Saints. But hopefully, Housh will play on Sunday and it will be a moot point.

Guys, there's a fantasy football thread. This is just non-fantasy NFL stuff. Yes there are other non-fantasy topics to discuss....I think.

Hey Jonesi "Lick me". I'll bet you right now that my Seahawks will have a better record this year than your fuckn Stealers & yes the spellings right. Your stealers won't do shit this year. As a matter of fact they will go down this week to Jax. Mark my words!!

So easily fired up...

Will the Seahags hit the double digit mark this week? Will they score a TD?

Just a reminder what the Hags are working towards..

Couldn't resist..

I'm the only Steeler fan..

And if you think I'm giving you a hard time go back and look at the shit I used to put up with from the Massholes (Pats fans)..
