Trade...

Duckett was acquired from the Falcons in a deal that sent receiver Ashley Lelie from Denver to Atlanta and a draft pick from the Redskins to the Broncos.

Washington will give Denver the equivalent value of a 2007 third-round selection, based on a points system used by NFL teams. The arrangement opens the door for multiple alternatives involving the teams' picks - they could swap picks in the first round, for example - but the exact compensation won't be determined until next off-season.

What do you guys think of Preseason games? Are they necessary or just 4 wasted games that risk injury to players for no reason?

I'm a squirrel. Apology accepted. My point: watching preseason football is like watching the NASCAR warmup lap, only higher probability of an injury/wreck.

Would you like it if the Steelers went to purple pants?

Dallas may own the nfc east, but the ALL Mighty Seahawks will rule the NFC, once again. Ithink our team will be even stronger this year, if that is possible.

I wish I could say that the Eagles will jump all over the cowboys like they have in the past, I just have my doubts for this year.

I like the 1st quarter of the preseason games (starters). Its also interesting to see our new players & new draft picks. I've always thought the preseason games are very dangerous for teams. Many players are out for the season from a preseason injury. I say Two tune up games, instead of four. But the greedy bastards only make half as much for the preseason games.

Fun fact for Seattle fans:

Seattle is the fifth NFC team in six years to lose the Super Bowl (Tampa Bay beat Oakland in SB XXXVII). All six NFC champions, including the Bucs, failed to make the playoffs the next season. In fact, all were under .500.
