Parody? Yes. Watching your Pats cheat their way is indeed a parody.

Parity? I would suspect too. Not For Long sport.

Regardless of my feelings against your team, they will contend again this year because of the coaching, stability...the NFC is a coin-toss. Rams? Seahawks?

You think Da Bears will do okay, @svtmike ? I dunno, that schedule is a bit crazy...I see them 9-7 at best and does that get them in even?

It is a tough schedule, but unless a team is doing a worst to first, that’s the gauntlet that all eventual champions must run. I think they will do well with the D and the good enough offense. The real wild card to me is how much special teams have progressed.

We shall see.

I just can't help but see parallels with the Jaguars team that regressed badly. We'll see. Casually reading the previews, analysts are either bearish or bullish on the Bears. Feast or famine for them this year I guess.

Raiders just keep making great trades. First, Mack and now, taking in Brown.

This could get ugly real fast

"There are those around the league who now believe the Raiders could suspend Antonio Brown with the idea of trying to void the $30.125 million of guaranteed money in his contract. Which obviously would end his time in Oakland."

From the old Jets GM Mike Tannebaum

"The significance of a suspension is that it would void (assuming normal contract language) his $29,125,000 in contract guarantees. However, if he's on the Active Roster on opening day his $14,625,000 '19 salary becomes guaranteed because he's a Veteran. They could suspend him
and then release him and then they would owe him nothing in terms of guaranteed money. The Raiders in all likelihood would try to recoup their $1,000,000 signing bonus as well.

So, you'll probably giggle but what will make me puke is he'll get cut by the Raiders and then, your Cheats swoop in and sign him for peanuts and somehow, someway, he plays and your team does great again.

But, the #hater in me is then hoping that if the Cheats sign him, between him and Demonhead Gordo, the team will just blow up.

Odell Beckham (hip) still hasn't "opened up yet" while running.

"It’s like an extremely fast car with the alignment off," Beckham said Thursday. Yikes. "The car can still go, but it’s dangerous.'' Beckham claims he's getting better, but admits the injury is "something that prevents me from opening up and sprinting." Frankly, that sounds a lot worse than we were expecting. It seems clear that Beckham will be out there against the Titans, but it's fair to wonder what his effectiveness might be. Hopefully we get a more encouraging update some time between now and Sunday.

Inexcusable. They are professional athletes. And no, none of the DEMONS bullcrap excuse.

WTF am I watching?

Bears decided to rest on their laurels before the season even start? They see their schedule? Ugh.

This is why Chicago people can't have nice teams.
