I read (didn't see it above) that the 2013 pick could escalate to a first rounder if the Raiders win a playoff game. Not sure if which season must be specified.

I always get my hopes up Sunday morning, only to wallow in bitter disappointment sitting in a pool of tears by Sunday afternoon.

If Romo threw a pick trying to get a first down on that final drive, he would have been crushed under public outcry and futility for the remainder of the season. Hey, at 2-3 in the NFC Weak(East) we all still have a chance. It's not as bad as the Giants losing to the Seahawks LMAO.

I honestly think we have the same existence LOL But yea the Giants despite losing to the Seaflops manage to win these other games. I am highly pissed at that. And yes every team in our division has a chance. I feel like we're in the NFC West

Dude. At least you can always go back to the Aikman years when your team was a beast.

What do I have? 1985. That's it. At least you have an owner that actually TRIES to win every year. Chicago's...? They try to kill their QB every year.

Yum, you can do like most that are Cowboys fans (mostly early 90's), since you don't live in Chicago, now. Just route for a team that is playing well enough to win SB's. Cheer for Green Bay!!

Hey your Bears looked good against the Dikes. Of course that's like varsity against JV LMAO. Cutler could be like Rivers if he had a decent O-line and some receivers better than Knox/Hester and a RB better than Forte.

We lost Felix Jones for 2-4 wks, Tashard Choice does not a good backup RB make.

I can't wait to see what he's got. I remember almost thinking the vikes should just go into the season w/ webb, and that alone might've made them the front runners in the Luck sweepstakes. Hopefully they knew what they were getting in Ponder, and he wasn't just a consolation prize after Cam, Locker, and Gabbert.

Ponder is the most overrated QB taken in the 1st round last year. I thought at the time the Vikes wasted a 1st round pick on a mediocre QB from a mediocre FSU team. Hope he does better than McNabb. How the Vikes can keep stinking it up with AP is beyond me.

I remember a lot of talking heads say he's the most ready for NFL because of the system that Fisher ran at FS.

We'll see in a couple weeks whether the Vikes regret passing on Dalton who appears to be acclimating quite well in Cinci

I think the Dikes should do away with a QB and run the wildcat with Peterson for the rest of the season.

I say 9 blockers + Peterson and Harvin in the backfield. I think that could work. Maybe put Jared Allen in on offense to knock a few heads too.

I just remember leading up to the draft, a lot of people were saying Locker was the vikes target. I didn't think locker would go that early either, but it felt like they kinda panicked once he was off the board. Maybe Ponder was always their guy, but I guess we'll never really know. I always just heard ponder was a smart guy, so I'm hoping for the best. I don't think I watched him at all in college, so I really don't know what to expect. He was considered one of the biggest reaches in the draft too though, so I'll be pleasantly surprised if he has early success. Feels like there's a lot of rookie QBs getting their chance this season, so he'll have a lot to compare to.

Everybody in the NFC West lost, hopefully next week the Niners can pull even further ahead with a win.

Ponder didn't have the best game, but he did bring the Dikes within six and an opportunity to come back and win..that's more than McNabb could ever give them.

Plus, as much as I dislike the Broncos, I am glad to see Tebow get the win today.

I thought Ponder played well. Much better than I was expecting. Think he'll learn to avoid some of the better cover corners.

Tebow had an amazing like 5 minutes, and a horrible 55 minutes. People are already claiming the fins tanked it for Luck. I was laughing at Orton losing the coin toss. That has to be awkward.

Raiders

big fat goose egg. Two first round/a first and second round pick for a 30-year old QB, good job! Perhaps the trade was done in the spirit of WWADD (What Would Al Davis Do)?

I mean jeez, a 2nd rounder would have been ideal I think. A 1st round pick was realistic considering the Bengals' idiot owner. But the possibility of two 1st rounders? lol

Palmer's had little to no experience with their playbook so he's temporarily excused. I didn't see the game either, but the scoreboard speaks for itself
