hah, the Raidaaaazz were garbage once again. Letting go of Garcia doesn't look like such a great idea now does it? JaMarcus could've been the next Vince Young.... overrated big QB with a big arm benched in favor of a washed up almost 40-year old.

Commitment to Excellence indeed. The Chargers are my team, second to my Niners of course. It was an ugly game that came down to the wire but the Chargers stomping on the Raiders is as sure as life and death.

I actually think this is a good move. They need 2 quarterbacks for Sunday in case DMac can't go. Vick isn't eligible till week 3. If Kolb implodes in the first half, bring Garcia in for the 2nd. He already knows the system and just needs to get his timing down, which he hopefully will do much of this week in practice. I have confidence whoever QB's that the Eagles can beat NO because our defense is AWESOME!

Seriously. Russel was really the deciding factor in that game. If he had any amount of accuracy and good judgement, the Chargers would have lost. Should be the last year for that big knucklehead. But I hope not, since the Raiders will just continue to suck. Thought that Raiders D is going to give other teams some serious fits.

What really surprised me was how our D line kept getting blown off the ball. Even Jamal! Merriman was non-existent. Some good plays in the secondary ('cept for that wide open pass ).

They better get it right for Baltimore next week...

They played one game against Carolina, a team that got their ass handed to them last year by Arizona in the same fashion. A defense that wasn't that good.

I think the Raider got robbed of a touchdown. Letter of the law ruling aside, he caught that ball, had control, took 2 steps foot down, and held it longer than most catches which end up getting fumbled after the receiver takes a step. C'mon now.

The Raiders did get robbed of a touchdown. If Russell could hit his receivers this game would've been a blowout.

The refs called almost the exact play a TD for the Pats game (I know not the same refs). There's no reason the Raiders should not have had a TD.

I never got to see the games since I worked most of the day on Sunday, but Cutler is probably hating life right now. Orton was part of a lucky play but ultimately it was exciting for the team and they won. Meanwhile Bears fans got robbed!

oh, and one more thing.... Michael Crabtree is a fucking idiot. So is his agent for supporting such a ridiculous idea. If I were Crabtree, I'd fire my agent and then shoot myself. Ideally we'll get reimbursed with some picks in next year's draft and end up with an even better receiver in the next draft or something and he ends up getting 2nd round draft pick money, though I have to admit he was quite the receiver in college. Hopefully he's the second coming of Mike Williams for another team

lol @ Primetime saying Crabtree doesn't need the money and is okay to sit the entire season. If he doesn't need the money, why is he holding out for more? and does he seriously think he's going to get any more money with any other teams after sitting for so long, unproven and without any practice? douche.

I agree about Crabtree. I wonder in the history of the Draft if any other 1st rounder who held out if they actually got drafted higher the next year. I've never heard of it...

+3 the guy seems like a real jerk. He's not even proven himself yet and he's already whining. If he's acting like this before he's even signed, I certainly wouldn't want him on the team.

It's unbelievable that he's acting this way especially when you're coming to a team that has seen the greatest receiver of all time and another one of the greatest in the last 10 years! Who the hell does he think he is!? You are a nobody as of right now buddy! Sign, stay healthy and make some plays and then talk about money.

And to think I was so happy when he fell to the niners on draft day..

..and everyone on the niner boards were rejoicing and laughing at al davis for taking heyward-bey.

Screw crabtree. We don't need a diva like him. Singletary probably hates him already
