I was looking up McGahee on Wikipedia and his injury is already on there. He was moving; so that's a good sign, but the replay didn't look good...

Great game by both teams..! Some players are going to be hurting tomorrow.. That was rough..
I hope the Baltimore Browns have a nice off season.
Makes for a interesting Superbowl considering Tomlin was chosen as head coach over former Steeler coaches and now Cardinal coaches Ken Whisenhunt and Russ Grimm.. They also brought over alot of former Steeler players.
Not to mention Larry Fitgerald went to the University of Pittsburgh and played at Heinz field for home games. And Steve Breaston grew up in Pittsburgh.

Interesting. Interesting.
The game will hinge on how well Arizona's defense plays. If they play like they did in Carolina, then they have a 50% chance of winning (It would maybe be higher if they had a mobile QB).
If they play like they did last night, I don't see them winning.

arizona winning it all would cap the story of the season off perfectly.
the best qb goes down in week one, the mannings don't make it to the conference championship, last year's nobodies make the playoffs(miami, jets, arizona, vikings, eagles, carolina), and now a team in a 62 year drought for a championship and went 2-1 in playoff play before this year has a chance at upsetting one of the best defensive teams in the league history with god-like play from larry fitzgerald and kurt warner doing what brett favre never could - retire on top.
but all they have is the steelers standing in their way. with mike tomlim in only his second year, he has taken the steel city into the super bowl yet again, where a win is only acceptable. steelers have the experience and the tenacity to kick your ass, and it showed last night when they constantly sent the ravens med staff into a frenzy by trying to kill every single player out there. roethelisberger is playing with a purpose, and willie parker and santonio holmes are playing with the hunger of getting back to where they were just three years ago. hines ward's presence was missed versus baltimore, but no doubt he knows what he must do to keep the tradition alive.
Has it finally struck midnight for warner and the cardinals, or does cinderella strike again and slay the steerler monster?

Nice write up..
I have a feeling Whisenhunt and Grimm know the Steelers inside and out considering they were coaches there for 6-7 years before coming over to the Cardinals. From a coaching standpoint I'd say the Cards have the upper hand. We all know the Cards have one of the top offenses in the league. It was their defense that was killing them. Which has come around at the right time.

The tone of this post is typical of Jonesi's "I really think my team will crush but I want to come off as reasonable and, besides, I don't want to jinx it." thinking. See hockey thread.

I'm superstitious..
But seriously, two of their coaches and several players are only two years removed from the Steelers system. One was the offensive line coach. Which, we all know the Steelers offensive line sucks. And second, Whisenhunt was the Steelers offensive coordinator.

I was actually pretty nervous most of the game. I could see the Ravens driving down and hitting a FG with ~3 min to go, that was until Troy saved the day
