having only one interception doesn't mean he's not a bad corner.

how often does the opposing QB throw to the man he's defending? how many pass deflections does he have?

i guess my point is that there are many other ways to judge someone from being a top CB besides interceptions.

that said, i haven't seen enough of him to give my opinion. but he does get mentioned a lot as one of the premier CB's in the league. i just like his name.

ROFL what a homer.

Asomugha is easy top3 cover corner in the league. Opposing teams flatout do not throw to his man. Ints don't mean shit unless he dropped a ton.

So you base one game's performance on the whole season?

And Awesome-How? had 1 int the entire year...Sorry, what was I thinking...
Did you just start following football? Deion Sanders in 3 of his years he was All-Pro had only 2 INT's 2 years (96,97) and 3 one year (92). When you're a good corner, you don't get thrown to a lot.

Hells yeah, I love the Raiders now. Only reason Eagles got it.

More so just responding to a homer who knows nothing outside of San Diego, not even his divisional opponents.

injuries my man injuries. derrick burgess had triceps problems, meaning that he can barely get into three point stance due the the tremendous pressure you put on your arm. plus playing the d line you have to keep pushing, thus using your triceps, and he still managed to dress up and play with the torn triceps and atleast contribute somewhat. our whole o-line had injuries and they suck anyways, thats why you were gettin to russell so many times. he got hurt, and that sealed the game.

as for asomugha, think about it
you have a pro bowler cb on one side who is known for deflections and cracking the wr, and on the other side is some scrub who can still play but isn't as notorious, you throw it towards the other one, therefore leaving asomugha to shut down your best wr.

haha the funniest thing about this season for the raiders is that it brought our punter, shane lechler, to the pro bowl. again. that should be an expectations considering how much our passing game sucks because of the garbage wr and o-line

Titans - Ravens
Panthers - Cardinals
Giants - Eagles
Steelers - Chargers

As long as Charlotte has two home games, I will be happy. The Charlotte observer reports that each game brings 10 million to the city.

I want to rip Dierdorf's tongue out and beat him with it.

That said, this is a pretty good game. Tennessee can't seem to finish.

They have to come up with a better way to enforce the play clock. Now I have to listen to the Ravens fans for another week

The game was not lost because of that play. The Titans had 3 turnovers, 2 of which were in the red zone. The Titans beat themselves. Good teams make the playoffs, great teams win in the playoffs.

I still don't know why Warner wears gloves.

Anyone with Sunday Ticket consistently watch the Titans play this year? It's really not surprising they lost today. They're not that good. When Kerry Collins is your QB, you have to figure that just getting to the playoffs is good enough.

It was cute that they got so pissed at the end. It was as if they expected to win. Adorable!!

Good game so far.

My previous comment regarding Kerry Collins also applies to Jake Delhomme.

After the first few plays, I was expecting this to be a blowout the other way.

I don't know why the Panthers aren't running it. I think they grossly underestimated the Cards.

I'm not saying it did, but every other clock in sports is paid attention to very strictly. I know if the teams were reversed, the Ravens fans I work with would be VERY bitter.

I'm pretty sure all of the Ravens fans I know will be rooting for the Steelers for the first time in their lives tmrw, since they are salivating for another shot at the black and gold.

Wow, I watched all of the BAL/TEN game and I watched the first few minutes of this game and figured it would be a Carolina blowout, so I started playing my 360 instead. I turned it on the 3rd quarter expecting Carolina would be WAY ahead, but it looks like its the other way around
