Great job this year by the Manning brothers - pro bowl and NFL MVP but can't get it done in the playoffs.

Go Eagles.

Dunno, but it's definitely NOT the Eagles. They lost to Washington TWICE this year. You can't lose to Washington TWICE and be considered anything near a good team.

edit: if you lose to Washington once you've got to think about re-building.

Better than nothing. Although the New England vs Arizona was an awesome snow game. It was pretty clear that Arizona didn't have snow experience.

Ya b/c clearly the Eagles had no shot vs Arizona putting up 48 points when they last played.

I forgot about that. Say - when is the parade for the top 3 defense scheduled? Wanna make sure I avoid traffic if I'm in NY.

Say what you want, during regular season they beat 3 of the 5 other teams that made NFC playoffs, beat the #2 seed in AFC and have a top defense.

They are plagued by inconsistency on offense and game management problems by coaching yet still had a top 10 offense as well.

I didn't really watch the game (only the very end), but McNabb's 22/40 with 2 picks isn't too impressive either. I guess it was a very windy day, but still...

Eagles dropped alot of balls. 2nd int was a tip at the line, and first one was the equivalent to a punt as it was 3rd down and blitzing safety came in untouched. He doesn't get help from a run game and is forced to create everything himself.

While he wasn't spectacular he did what he had to do to get a W.

hey, I noticed you're from BC... I'll be in Vancouver during the Superbowl... we have a condo in Yaletown... but since we're barely ever there... we never get cable tv... Do you know of any cool places to go to watch the game? maybe some kinda of sports bar?

No sorry, live in the interior of BC and don't go to the coast very often. Theres quite a few Vancouver members on the board though, I'm sure they have some suggestions.

dang chargers. Finally get a good return and just give it back, and another mistake on special team....it's not looking good. I think every week i've cared less and less about the playoffs.

If it's pitt/philly in the superbowl, i'll really not care, although an all Pennsylvania superbowl might be kinda interesting.

i'll be rooting for the cards to represent the west coast, and the ravens cause I want to see flacco be the first rookie qb in the superbowl.

+1 That would be two firsts. Cards first time in the SB and first rookie. That would be pretty cool.

Next year if I was the SD coach, I would set LT for the last game. He's gotten hurt in the last game of the last two years and SD hasn't made it to the Championship Game.

The Super Bowl is next week between the Steelers and Ravens. Neither NFC team has a chance.

By "chance" do you mean the likelihood that Arizona could win the division, upset Atlanta, travel to Carolina as 10-point dogs and blow out the Panthers, and then upset the Eagles at home?

Or do you mean the likelihood that Philly could beat Dallas after having the Bucs and Bears lose to the Raiders and Texans, then go on the road and beat the Vikings, then travel to the defending champs and beat them by 12, then cross the country and beat Arizona in their place?

Because them odds seem longer than beating the Steelers or Ravens on a neutral site.
