NE vs NY simulcast

The NFL announced today that they will be broadcasting Satuday nights game on 3 networks instead of just the NFL network.

I dont have a link, just heard it on the news.

I guess this means I'll get it in high def? I don't think I get the NFL network in high def.

You Giants fans should be ashamed for selling all your tickets to the Patsies.

Why? If I could get $1600 for a ticket I would gladly watch it at home or better yet in a bar. The Giants have no chance of winning anyway.

And subject yourself to Gumbel on 3 different channels? If the NFL really wanted to appease its fans, they should've let each network bring in their own announcers.

And I would never sell my ticket to a Packers or Bears fan. Even if Yulechah offered me an Aston Martin Matchbox car.

No, he's worse. He called Frank Gore "Al Gore". Twice.

Also let's not forget....."the Wendy's halftime report" - should be Home Depot half time report.

And the ever popular "Rick Romo".....Tony's body double.

he's not bad, he's terrible...he doesn't know players' names, player stats, team stats, or seemingly anything about football.

Aside from the misktakes already listed, Gumbel...

...called Tony Romo, "Antonio" Romo as well as Rick Romo.

...once referred to the 2nd period of the game instead of the 2nd quarter.

...said, "Welcome back to Thursday Night football" during a Saturday night game

...said, "Welcome back to Cincinnati" when the 49ers were playing the Bengals in San Fran.

...said, "The 49ers go up after a field goal by Shayne Graham"

...called Nick Folk, Nick Arizona

...said, "Marion Barber is the heartbeat of the Green Bay offense."

and the list of blunders goes on and on.

NFL Network, just fire the guy!

Not to mention he simply sucks at the play by play and has an irritating voice.

Luckily Comcast in MA offers the NFL network, so I bought it right around thanksgiving so I could get the thursday/saturday games... The other content is pretty good, and the 1 1/2 hour replay of the games during the week are pretty cool too... I'll cancel it after the superbowl, so it'll end up costing me under $20.

I would be pissed if my cable company didn't offer the NFL network and the game wasn't broadcast on regular TV.

Toomer when asked if the Giants should rest Eli said the Pats should rest Brady since the Patriots don't have anything to play for His reasoning was that the Pat's already have home field advantage throughout the playoffs Like going 16-0 and making history is nothing to play for
