Aggie’s season starts tonight. This year we play (pre-season) ranked teams: 1, 2, 3, 6, & 16.

9-3 would be a great season!

Big win for the Boise State Broncos in their first gave ever in Florida. And Tennessee apparently sucks.

Texas whipped Louisiana Tech. Here’s to hoping Louisiana State can return the favor on Saturday.

Before the other Ian gets on here.

Mond was fucking shit. We could have gone up 7-0 on the second play of the game. He played awful. Overthrowing receivers... delay of games.. snapping the ball at the last millisecond.. why? He was way off his game today and needs to get his shit together. The obvious drops by the WRs did not help at all though.

However, I was very impressed with the D.. We gave Clemson all they could handle; now they can cakewalk their way to the FBS championship.

We can still make it, but Mond.. whatever the fuck that was today... fix it. It was awful.

After digesting the game for a couple days, here is my take. We have a top 10 Defense again. Our offense has the potential to be top 25, but plain and simple, they didn’t show up.

The game was a matter of five plays both ways. Lawrence, Higgins, and Dixon made their plays. We didn’t make any of ours, and that was the game. I’m willing to bet that outside of an offensive meltdown against a much lesser team, that’s the lowest score Clemson posts this year.

Also, with LSU jumping to #4, we now play #’s 1, 2, 3, 4, & 8 this season. Half of the top ten.

Would love to hear your thoughts after today's game.

Again, or defense, for the most part, played really well. Our offense, mainly Mond, was awful. Sure... there were some drops and bad ref calls, but Mond was the main reason we lost. I mean on one play he had a wide open left side of the field and literally ran into the only Auburn lineman near him causing a sack. Oh and 2 straight delays of game? FFS.

In the fourth quarter he decided to show up and play, but that is 3 quarters too late.

No joke, he needs to be benched a few drives so it sinks in that he is not playing well at all.

Ok... tell me I'm wrong

100% agree. Mond looks as unconfident and discombobulated as he did his Freshman year. He is not progressing, and I can’t for the life of me understand why they aren’t calling more QB rushes. This is college football; running QBs win more than “NFL QBs” do.

Besides Mond’s mediocrity, a big part of the problem is that our O-Line SUCKS.

Unless Jimbo can pull some kind of We Are Marshall miracle out of his ass, we’ll be lucky to have an eight win season. The worst part is that after years of 500+ yd offenses and no defense, we finally have a good D, and our offense is no where to be found.

I hate when people complain about officialls and I normally don't but the TD call overturn in the Penn State Iowa game this weekend was atrociously handled. It shows either blatent attempt to alter the game by an official or complete incompetance. Even the announcers and the official the broadcaster uses to help explain the call were stunned. Sadly, it wasn't the only questionable call during the game that stunned the broadcaster either which made it seem like the fix was out. At least Penn State still managed to win.

I wonder how many UGA players blew the referees after the FLA-GA game.

1. Pass interference on 4th down call that was not called.
2. Pass that UGA receiver dropped that clearly hit the ground that was not overturned by the refs after a review. 3 plays later, TD UGA. That was the difference in the game.
3. Multiple other instances of poor refereeing.

LSU vs Bama should be epic.

IMO LSU deserves the #1 seed from what I've seen. I heard this on the radio and I believe it.. if LSU doesn't finally beat Alabama this year, they never will.

I have been in favor of the committee up to this point.

Now they seem to be on crack.

They got two OSU teams ranked way above where they should be.

After a home loss, the look on the faces of students who haven’t seen their home team lose in their four years of attendance is...

...awesome.

Well OU got flat out destroyed.

LSU looks like one of the best teams in recent memory. They actually have an offense now! And a damn good one!

Where is the (old) Cool (now dumb) Rockstar? He should be living this thread up!

The real shame in this thread being is that LSU is probably the best college football team in history.

I thought Clemson made it exciting for a while, but LSU just has too much talent. Two great teams doing battle however - quality of play was almost NFL-like. Trevor Lawrence is going to make a really interesting NFL quarterback one day. If Burrow lands in Cincinnati, with all those great weapons on offense, Bengals might have a record setting turn-around season. A healthy AJ Green, Tyler Boyd, Joe Mixon, shore up the O-line - they'll have something for sure.

Only problem is Zac Taylor is the coach, he has no business heading a coaching staff in the NFL. Taylor makes Bengals fans miss Marvin Lewis.

Game was quite entertaining, pretty dominant performance by LSU in the second half.

I never watch college football, but had to see the matchup between two prospective #1 overall QBs. Agreed that the game was long af.

Looked at mock drafts and there are tons of LSU players projected to go in the first round this year

This might have been the best CFB team ever.

At the time of the team rankings, they beat the # 9, 7, 9, 3, 4, 4, 3 teams in the nation.
