We start with UCLA at home after stealing their OC. Also have a 5th year grad student behind the reins who beat Bama in the Sugar Bowl a few years back. The SEC West is brutal, but it seems we might have as good of a chance this season as ever. Let's go, Ag's!

Badgers got lucky last year in Paul Chrysts inaugural season and didn`t play some of the power teams in the Big Ten, this year they play all of them, OSU, MSU, and Michigan. I like our team this year. My cousins son is playing this year after getting red shirted last year. Last year the Badgers played really tough D. hope it carries over.
1st game is on Sept 3rd against LSU at Lambeau field.

I am interested to see if Harbaugh can bring Michigan back to glory. I would enjoy seeing them beat OSU.

The one game everyone hates to see a winner from is Sunday. I don't root for the Irish, but I always root against t.u.
A&M has a 3 point spread on UCLA. Almost game time!

That just sounds sweet. Bitter sweet means there's good and bad. I only see good. Not trying to be pedantic, just curious if something bad happened.

BIG XII. You suck. Maybe you can find solace in being the first Power Five conference to miss the CFP twice.

Damn. I'm a bit surprised LSU would clean house just 30% into the season. Now I'll never get to see A&M beat a Les Miles' LSU team, and this would've been the year to do it.
Hopefully this makes the turkey taste just a little bit better.

Big game.
When I heard no Garrett or Noil or Seals-Jones I was like .. uh oh. And it showed. Looked like we were looking ahead to the Tenn game. Lucky to get outta there undefeated. Lots of cuss at the TV moments.

We didn't play our best, but I never really felt nervous. Our run D was a little weaker, and they put pressure on Knight to throw the ball which forced some errors. I'm glad we got that stuff out there against USC though. It gives us a chance to see our weaknesses and try to correct them.
We we just need a big game from our D against Tenn. They've shown they will give up TDs.

Went to Houston this past weekend. Boy, there sure are a lot of A&M people there. Very interesting to learn about the history with the corp of cadets.
Anyway, good old fashioned Big Ten football game last week against Wisconsin.

Seems like at least 50% of Aggies either come from Houston or end up there after.
That said, there has been a shift on the bandwagon in Texas ever since Johnny came through and t.u. fell off the ladder of relevance. It used to be that all the t-shirt-fans wore burnt orange, but the maroon trend has taken over.

Fuck. I think I had 5 heart attacks watching that game.
The secondary was fucking ATROCIOUS. TACKLE TACKLE WRAP HIM UP! fuck that was bad ... looked like the horrible defense of several years ago... or last year.
With 6 Tennessee turnovers and going to OT, we are lucky to have won. But shit needs to get fixed FOR SURE or we won't be able to beat Bama and will prolly lose to Ole Miss... and prolly LSU. No more pansy tackling.
I can't believe I used pretty much my used my whole Saturday to have 5 heart attacks.

Tenn vs TAMU was a freaking violent game. Maybe the most violent I have ever seen. Vols were dropping like flies, and both teams were getting rocked numerous times.
Tennessee has a damn good team. Their D can show up and shut anyone down if they don't give up the big plays, and their offense is pretty freaking explosive with Kamara and Dobbs. Dobbs avoided A LOT of sacks and converted a number of well defended 3rd downs. They get a lot of credit for where the are and where they've come from. Definitely not overrated.
I never er really felt nervous until they punched the ball out at the half yard line. That should have been the end of the game and a 14 point TAMU win. We may not have controlled the game so well, but we controlled the scoreboard the entire game. Our D deserves a lot of credit, even with the missed tackles.
WHOOP!!!

Yeah, that was an absurdly long game.
Worst part about beating them up so badly is we hurt their chance of taking down Bama next week which would benefit us greatly.

I was watching it on mute while playing in a poker tournament. I lost track during overtime and I thought the game was over when Tennessee kicked the first field goal. Man, was I pissed!!

....Aaaaannnnddd now he's off the team.
https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/2-...230455556.html
Two days after he was carted off the field at Texas A&M, Tennessee defensive tackle Danny O’Brien has been dismissed from the program.
Tennessee said in a brief release that O’Brien’s dismissal stems from a violation of team rules.
“This news is unrelated to the injury he suffered against Texas A&M. However, should he require any additional care, it will be provided by the University of Tennessee,” the release said.
O’Brien, a senior, was injured in the fourth quarter Saturday following a helmet-to-helmet hit. He was immobilized and carted off the field and out of the stadium. After being briefly hospitalized, O’Brien was allowed to return home to Tennessee with the team after the game, which the Vols lost in double overtime.
Earlier Monday, Vols coach Butch Jones was asked about O’Brien’s injury.
“Those are one of those moments in time when you’re on the field you never want to be a part of,” Jones said according to the Knoxville News. “Everything is racing through your mind, but the big thing you want to do is you want to be there for him and you want to be there for his family. I thought our training staff took all the precautionary elements that needed to be done. Texas A&M officials handled it exceptionally well.
The 6-foot-2, 301-pound O’Brien is a starter for the Vols who has played in 42 games in his career, including 19 starts. Before his dismissal, he totaled 63 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss and four sacks.
Per VolQuest.com, O’Brien was suspended in 2015 for two games for violating team rules and also was arrested in 2014 for “underage consumption, resisting arrest and criminal impersonation.”
