Le?Veon Bell did his research to tear LaVar Ball to pieces on Twitter For The Win
By: Adi Joseph March 14, 2017 1:22 pm Follow @AdiJoseph
Le’Veon Bell and LaVar Ball are similar names. Same capital letters, similar spelling on the last name. Their bond ends there, apparently.
The Steelers running back decided to sound off on one of the money quotes from USA TODAY Sports’ Josh Peter’s story on the father of UCLA star Lonzo Ball. Yes, Ball really said he could have beaten Michael Jordan in their (mostly overlapping) primes. No, Bell doesn’t believe him.

lol man, Lavar Ball really will say anything for attention…so youu can beat Michael Jordan 1 on 1 in both y'all primes man?! 😩😂 I'm done

Lavar Ball, you have to understand you averaged a whole 2 points per game at Washington State…youu know damn well Jordan would TORCH you!

Lavar Ball, in '88 when youu averaged that whole 2 points a game at Washington St, Michael Jordan averaged 35 a game with the Chicago Bulls

Yes, Ball really only averaged 2.2 points a game at Washington State, which makes his College Basketball Reference page look pretty abysmal. But he transferred out of Wazzou to go to Cal State Los Angeles, where he was a much better player at a much lower level.
Still, no one in the world believes he could have taken Michael Jordan. Or that he could take him now. Or that he’ll be able to take him at any point in their lives.
Just check #LaVarBallSays. Hopefully Le’Veon Bell joins the meme.

Interesting article on how home game advantage has declined. Apparently many players hook up with women online and just have them meet at the room. No need to bar hop for hours to settle on mediocre ass.

Wow Westbrook did it. Averaged a triple double this year and most triple doubles in a season. But yet some are saying Harden or Leonard should be MVP. Too much talent man. There's a chopped version of Ice Cube's "It Was a Good Day" with Westbrook in there that's great.

Westbrook is a ball hog and only wanted to pad his stats. They will go no where in the playoffs, almost the same record as the Bucks. NO way in hell should he be acknowledged for MVP this year. He is on a losing team unless they win it all, but highly unlikely in my eyes.
Congrats to him for setting a record, but his head only got bigger!

Well, it'll be interesting to see if the Intolerabulls will make the playoffs. They win their next game, they are in. If not, well, meh...
Then again, getting in means they may get to play an extra few games. Big deal.

Sucks that you have the tiebreaker on us. The Heat games have been phenomenal.

With his skill he should have no issue scoring 10 points and 10 boards. The more difficult part is assists but very doable. If he had any help this year, I guarantee he wouldn't have even come close.

If anything can save the Celtics against the Bulls, it might be this - Rondo out indefinitely with fractured thumb:

Winning two games against a sleep-walking Celtics team doesn't save the GarPax duo, IMO. Then again, you never know with the Reinsdorf-run team. And yeah, with Rondo gone, no one can hassle Thomas...Chicago is completely overmatched at PG.

OMG the Riley ESPN article is such a fantastic long read. All that success but what a curse. Really really insightful into Riley.
Also there's a piece written by Waiters about himself. Gives a nice shoutout to the Heat culture and describes Riley as DeNiro in Casino Really good piece as well.

When other teams fail, it's not as funny as when Da Bulls fail.
Again, karma for Jordan...I know. Same reason why Da Bears will forever suck: Karma for Sweetness. When teams are gifted the greatest athletes of the sports, well, you have subsequent years of utter ...it's karma.

Is the Spurs game on Fox Sports broadcast nationwide? I ask because they are broadcasting it as if it were a Spurs sponsored broadcast. They refer to the Spurs as "we" and "us", and they don't talk about the Grizzlies' opportunities to win. At all. It's kind of weird, but I'm a Spurs fan, so I can dig it. Was wondering what it would be like to be a Grizzlies' fan watching.
