That's why those chatter of LeBron vs. MJ...are not even worthy of chatter.
It's like trying to compare Trump to Lincoln. Not even close.

LeBron might be the greatest ever if he can beat this GS team.
But he can't beat this GS team. His powers look like their deteriorating on the defensive side. He is so used to guarding the best player on the floor, but Durant is just too good for him and GS has so many better options.

Probably beating a dead horse here. I unfortunately don't have time to keep track of an 82 game season like NBA or NHL, so I don't watch much basketball these days. Still, no matter how good LeBron is, I can never like him for his flops or crybaby attitude.
He's one of the strongest guys on the floor and yet flops so much and gets questionable calls go his way. And if they don't go his way, he puts his hands up and starts crying. It's extremely annoying. I completely understand why somebody would try to get foul calls, as it's a better chance for your team to win, but still.
I respect his game but not his antics when he wants to get a call, same regarding his The Decision crap. I know it was a long time ago...

I shoot people
Last year they fired their coach in the middle of the season and they were 1st place in the east, why? Because LeBron didn't like him

The Warriors are down right nasty, and I mean that as a total compliment. I don't know Curry like I know Durant, but with both of them on their game, it's hard to imagine them losing.

Shawn Kemp/Gary Payton and Karl Malone/John Stockton are worth comparing to Durant/Curry/Thompson?

I'm not going to compare who's dick is bigger. These Joe vs Joe debates have been beatin to death. Lebron has created this hype, and all I said is he isn't living up to it. He doesn't take over the game like he should. If he is the greatest player his shooting should be spot on, grabbing every board, having multiple assists by drawing the attention away from his teammates by penetrating the hole to bring weak side D over and dish off for an easy layout. It's not there, doesn't hustle back on defense when he thinks he was fouled and is flopping like a fish out of water. Play the game to your fullest, even the announcers have been saying how to do stop players from these award winning flops. It's pathetic.

My only point is that Jordan did not face the type of competition that the NBA sees on a regular basis these days. The biggest problem debating Jordan and Lebron to me is the size difference. Their games are very different due purely to size.
As for your criticisms of James, he did almost all of those things you say he doesn't in game 2. He has eight Finals triple doubles now. Besides Magic, the next closest is two.

Not directed at any post in particular but regarding the complaints about facing a superteam, LeBron actively pursued the superteam (justifiably so) in Miami after getting no help in Cleveland for 7 years. Against the Mavs, Wade and Bosh carried the Heat in the finals, while the Queen did not play up to par.
Meanwhile Dirk put the team on his back, with his biggest help coming from perennial 6th man Jason Terry. Also while Wade and LBJ mocked Dirk for playing with an illness, basically implying that he faked the whole thing.
I have always felt sorry for Cleveland as a sports city, but it's very hard to cheer for someone like LeBron

Meh. Detroit Pistons. Thomas, Dumars, Laimbeer, Rodman, and Johnson were pretty darn good. And the stuff they got to do back then would have Curry et al sobbing to their moms.
MJ went through THAT. Repeatedly. Until he finally broke through.

I'm not comparing the Pistons to the Warriors. VERY different styles and different teams. But, that defense was beyond ridiculous and suffocating. And they were IMO, stacked. Again, just with the contact rules today, it allows players to score more, IMO. I find the NBA a bit more watered down...but, maybe it's just because I grew up on the 80s basketball which skews my opinion? Dunno.

Dunno...I would disagree there. I think the contact rules TODAY even in the post are more strict than before. Have a look at some of the battles between the big men back in the 80s/90s versus now.

LeBron has had horrible efficiency in the 2nd half

Also really dislike comparing players from different eras. At least in NBA and NFL, rule changes are drastic and so does level of fitness, training and recovery, etc. especially when you're comparing across decades worth of time.
Jordan was the best player of his respective era, LBJ is currently debated as the best for his.

I think there will be certain plays that go against it, but the post play this post season, at least in the West, has been very physical. More so than I ever remember seeing in the past two decades.

The NBA is alot "softer" now than before. The stuff teams coached by Chuck Daly would be called flagrant almost every 2nd play by today's standards. And there is way more flopping now than before.

Like also for certainty, there was none of this "sit to rest" for the playoffs BS that is popular now than before. I never heard of that until the last couple of seasons.

Good game. What a turn around at the end. Was sure the Cav's had this one.
4 - 0 on Friday?

I normally don't read comments on social media but Cavs fans are extremely salty. Their delicious tears sustain me

Tonight's game falls on the Cavs' shoulders for playing so awful more than LeBron's; feels like his first trip to Finals against that insane Spurs team.
As for a superteam, most people seem upset about KD's decision alone (the Warriors deserve all the credit for drafting & building their core of Curry/Thompson/Green) & others try to justify it by citing James' move to the Heat which wasn't really the same thing, going from a 1st place 61-21 Cavs team to a 13th best, 47-35 Heat (that got nearly swept 4-1 in the 1st round) whilst Durant went from a 5th best 55-27 OKC to a 73-9 GSW team that he had his own 3-1 Playoff lead against (in the Conf. Finals). LeBron criticizers would have a more valid argument if James had joined that 50-32 Celtics squad that beat him 4-2.
Regardless, congrats to whoever wins. As a Mavs fan, I'll be watching the next 1-2 seasons for Dirk and then seeing how we build our first young squad in decades; there's no point in paying attention to the Playoffs next season if the Warriors & the Cavs become Finals favorites. I'd rather see the Celtics return honestly.

The whole superteam gripe is bullshit. I don't know a single fan who wouldn't soak it all in if it happened to their team. Warriors hadn't won a championship in decades before 2015

How do you call Kyrie iso on that last play against one of the Warriors best defenders. Why didn't they draw up a play with Lebron holding the ball? I don't think he scored in the last 4 mins.

I'm not so upset about the super-team as I was after they swept the Spurs. I said what I said out of frustration. The most helpful perspective for me was reading the history of the finals with multiple examples of consecutive championships, multiple All-Stars per team, and 4-1 series/sweeps.
The Warriors are something very special with Durant, and I'll use the same characterization again. They are just nasty. The shooting ability is just insane in how they can maintain it.

Saw a stat that said Cavs went 0 for 8 to end the game while GS went on an 11-0 run.
