Is there still a team in Toronto?
You guys have no idea how insignificant this team has become to this city. And unless the get Wiggins next year, no idea how to fix it. Seems to be an NBA wide issue. If you're not LA, NY, somewhere hot or somewhere with no state incomes taxes, good luck to you.

The flipside of that is, if you can't demonstrate you are a destination, you won't get those stars to come.

Wiggins would be a nice get for the Raptors. This upcoming generation of Canadian basketball players is supposed to be pretty good. Don't know if that helps the Raptors right now though.
Edit: we're talking this Wiggins right?

I think the Raptors would settle for :Leanybodywhodidn'tjustsignherebecausetheycan'tget acontarctanywhereelse:
And what looks to be back to back Canadian #1's taken in the NBA draft. That has to somehow carry over to the countries only NBA team
Does the NBA fix the draft like the NHL does?

^^Butler's already gone, sent to Phoenix (sorry, edited after I posted it).
Re: Dragic, that's the question, though Bledsoe is seen as more of a hybrid point guard/shooting guard. They might play together, per experts on Twitter.
Get this though: the Clippers still have full mid-level to spend. Lob City, Spot-up City, what else do they need...sheesh...

Arash made a good point about that though:

So I'm hearing Bynum won't workout for teams and wants a max deal.
Knicks about to offer Elton Brand. I didn't even know he played last year.
Kevin Martin to the TWolves is official.
David West (Pacers) and Tony Allen (Grizz) re-sign. Splitter gets $9MM per.
Interesting tidbit with Iguodala almost going to to the Kings and Tyreke Evans signing with New Orleans.

Interesting tidbit with Iguodala almost going to to the Kings and Tyreke Evans signing with New Orleans.
The Sacramento Kings, after making Andre Iguodala their top free-agent priority, have abruptly pulled their lucrative offer to the Denver Nuggets swingman, according to USA Today.
Iguodala
After ESPN.com reported Tuesday night that the Kings were going all-out to try to sign Iguodala away from the Nuggets, USA Today reported in the early hours of Wednesday that the Kings -- frustrated by Iguodala's unwillingness to give them a faster answer -- took the reported four-year, $52 million deal off the table.
It was not immediately known if the offer to Iguodala can be resuscitated.
Iguodala, in response to the move, simply tweeted:
WOW!!!!
— Andre Iguodala (@andre) July 3, 2013
Via his Twitter feed, Iguodala also said:
Really?? Ok... MOTIVATION!!!!!!
— Andre Iguodala (@andre) July 3, 2013
When it appeared that they were closing in on a verbal agreement with Iguodala under new general manager Pete D'Alessandro -- whom Sacramento hired away from Denver -- sources told ESPN.com that the Kings were likewise leaning strongly against matching the offer sheet restricted free agent Tyreke Evans is planning to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans on July 10.

Surprising news today with tyreke Evans and grevis Vazquez being traded. I guess the pelicans are really trying to push to be a playoff team. JR smith resigns with NY. I dunno about that.

Warriors were always a dark horse but they'd have to trade players and Lakers prefer not to sign and trade with Dwight for cap and tax reasons. Here's an interesting article where it looks like the Lakers might not get him and their alternate options.

Belinelli to the Spurs. What do Bulls and Spurs fans think about him?
What do you Celtics guys think about your new coach?
JR Smith to re-sign with Knicks. When will Bargnani ever get the ball?
Korver stays with Hawks at $6MM per year.
Al Jefferson to the Bobcats.

^^It would have been fine if he stayed, fine if he went. As Mychal Thompson was saying, he was never a Laker. Never embraced it.
I'm actually happy he didn't go to GSW. Damn NorCal'ers would have been hella this hella that...guess I'm just tired of them talking about the Giants 2 'chips, lol.

The Lakers don't need Dwight to succeed they have proven throughout history that they are a winning organization they have been in half or close to half of all the NBA finals. If a player says the most important thing to him is championships then its a no brainer go with the Lakers. Dwight is again showing everyone what kind of person/player he is "confused" you know it's bad when your described as Dwightmare he will be that no matter what team he goes to I just hope he doesn't change his mind and comeback to the Lakers we will be ok without him.

ehhh who cares about that idiot its over with. now with the good news Andre Iguodala agrees to sign with the Warriors!!!!

I still think San Antonio is a stronger team. Duncan is still great as is Parker. Pop will know how to stop them. Only thing is Harden can hit those jumpers if left open. I heard a rumor of a sign and trade for Houston to get Josh Smith.

I'm glad Dwight left because I really don't think he's worth 118 million and it spares us 5 years of crying, whining, and blaming others for his shortcomings. The Lakers are in excellent shape for the 2014 FA market.

As far as the Lakers go, I'm dissapointed we didnt go after resigning Clark. Now I'm hearing Sasha, Farmar, and Lamars name being kicked around. Seems like we want to go cheap this offseason and sign a bunch of 1yr deals. I'm ok with that philosophy as long as it is a small part of a bigger plan to get us back on top.
