Regardless, why "visit" all the other teams and put on a show?

It was lame. I followed the LeChewsLikeaCamel's visit to the Bulls and all his lovey-dovey talk. It was nice but like I said, it was all a lie since he never intended to sign with Chicago.

Anyhow, water under the bridge. I'm a LeHeat fan now.

Fark the Bulls.

Remember Wade is from Robbins, IL. He grew up watching the Bulls and probably was debating on it being closer to home. Imo, i don't think Wade wanted his kids to be in Chicago because of his crazy ex. Plus he was having a good thing in the city of Miami. Never intended or not, Its his life.

The last and final player that I care about is Rashard Lewis. I know the guy went MIA after he got his ridiculous contract, but the man can still play at a competitive level. If the Heat manage to get Rashard too... yeah I'll officially declare a dynasty.

But while we wait for the new season to begin, check this out:

Geez, Blakes got swag... I wonder if he'll be able to top Vince Carter's posterization in the 2004(?) olympics.

Blake is good but Vince-sanity's dunk will be stupidly hard to overshadow.

Nope. I can compare the Vinsanity dunks to MJ's entire career, in that I don't think anyone will ever come close.

Sick shit though, I'll give you that.

I think if Magic, Mike, and Larry made the euros say "hey, I can play basketball in USA", Vince's dunk made them say "oh, hell naw"....

(Seriously- Frederic Weis, the 7 footer Vince dunked on decided to stay in France. He was drafted by the Knicks that year).

Vince's dunk on Weis was more like Welcome to the NBA, how does my nuts feel?

I'm iffy about Camby.. his best years are way past him and they're giving up their young players (JJ, Harrelson, Douglas) to get him.

By signing Camby and Kidd, the knicks have increased their average age to about 35. I think only Shump and Lin will be under 30.

Either way, the team looks great on paper.... if this were five years ago.

I think Riley commented shortly after the celebration and Jones' comments that he meant he would retire as a Heat player but not necessarily now. As for Lewis, I guess you can't have too many 3 point shooters I would like a nice defensive big man in the middle but big men prices shot up.

^^I won't hold my breath though. Too many issues to sort through.

The Magic have to figure out what they want to do. For the other teams involved, I think its holding back on any other trades or signings. For the Lakers specifically, they need to bolster their bench.

Well c'mon...a deal centered around Lopez for TheIdiot? Seriously...that's horrible for the Magic.

The Nets had to do better than that...way better. As stupid as TheIdiot is, he is still a very rare talent and the best C in the league.

Why would the Magic take Lopez? He's said in the past he doesn't like them & the organization isn't exactly fond of him, either.
They don't need another potential Howard on their hands.

Edit* Guess they're done anyway.
Chris Sheridan ‏@sheridanhoops
Breaking news: #Nets are out of Dwight Howard sweepstakes. They will keep Brook Lopez, and probably Kris Humphries, too.

DumpedbyKim seems to be an interesting one...Would any team really want him? I hear he's a walking pile of drama and distraction. Didn't his own PR guy quit on him because of all the shenanigans he gets himself into...?

The Magic are as batshit crazy as Dwight; they belong together.

First tweet.
Alex Kennedy @AlexKennedyNBA
The Magic informed Dwight Howard that they are suspending trade talks, according to source. Orlando will now focus on their coaching search.
Shortly after.
@ESPNSteinLine

RT @WindhorstESPN: Magic GM Hennigan on reports that Howard trade talks have been suspended: "That's not accurate."
The GM & the owner aren't even on the same page anymore.

I don't know if I want him (on the Lakers). Bynum can be a head case, but he's a containable head case. Dwight just destroyed a front office and a coaching staff to get what he wants, but he ended up wanting out.

What we can take away from all of this and watching TheIdiot is that, you NEVER go full retard.

And well, TheIdiot went full retard.

Looks like the Mavs will be signing Chris Kaman to 1 year. Not bad. All-Star center is what we really need & now we'll have a German twin tower at the defense.
