Depends on the severity. Was listening to sport talk radio when it was 'breaking news'. But a torn ligament in the hand heals faster than anything in the legs.

The doctor that spoke on the radio said if its micro-tearing, days. If its a full tear (worst case) 3-4 weeks.

Kobe is listed as day-to-day, if that's any indication. He also practiced Tuesday, but he'll sit for today's game.

Especially with barely a preseason. I mean there are for real games in 2 days.

This season will be grueling and I won't be surprised if many more players get injured since some aren't in "game shape" there was no real training camp and only 2 preseason games. For example the Lakers play 6 games in 8 days as do other teams to say its going to be a sprint is putting it mild.
