That was a terrible game by the Celtics tonight. As a Celtics fan I would like to apologize to all of you who tuned in expecting a great game 7. The Celtics just dropped the ball tonight. It was such a sloppy game...

Anyways, good series by the Magic and I wish them luck against the Cav's, they'll need it...

I only got to catch some of the 2nd quarter of the Magic game and it was a very poor stretch. Starbury had a couple of brainless turnovers, easy dunk by the Euro dude from the Magic, bad shot selection by Boston. Was this representative of the game?

I am disappointed with the Celtics loss, but I feel really good about next year. Breakout performances by Rondo and Big Baby. Perkins pretty much showed the rest of the league he can match up with Howard through most of this series. Next year we will hopefully have a healthy KG returning and even though all those guys are 1 year older, so are the young guys.

At this point Rondo has to be considered a top 5 if not top 3 PG in the league.

KP got ridiculed quite a few times by Howard last night however .. It was rather bad to see, although I agree with ya.

Just thought I'd share this excerpt from espn regarding the Martin-Cuban fiasco:

"He's a coward," Martin said about Cuban, according to HoopsHype.com. "He couldn't face it. You all read the only apology that he's made [on his blog].

"The world got to see it before the person who it was meant for got to see it. That tells you how that goes. I ain't never known nobody apology to somebody through other people."

Say what?

you know, i was thinking about that the other day.

after chris paul and deron williams, rondo just may be at 3rd. his confidence level has really impressed since the beginning of last season's playoffs.

What about Billups? Hard to argue with championship rings and he definitely was the missing piece for the Nuggets this season.

I'm intrigued by the Nuggets/Lakers series. I hope Kobe gets abused and Melo goes ballistic

Rondo a top 5 PG? IMO, I think someone like Felton could do with Rondo is doing with those surroudings. Rondo is a top 10 at BEST.

Top 5:
Deron Williams
Chris Paul
Steve Nash
Tony Parker
Chauncey Billups
Honorable Mention: Baron Davis

Honestly, did Boston fans think they had a chance to repeat without KG?

Werd. I go for top 6 PGs

CP
Steve Nash (not as much press with the suns missing the playoffs but still soooo multi-talented)
TP
Deron Williams
Mr. Bigshot
B-Diddy

Nash was great, he still is good, and definitely top 10 but I don't think he is top 5 anymore. Rondo is a better defender and is just too fast for Nash to keep up. Rondo has played well against all of those guys listed

Rondo also outplayed him both times they played this season. Including a game without KG...

Also to say that I thought the Celtics had no chance would stupid. They were still the defending champs and even without KG they can still make some noise. Sure it was a slim chance, but it was still a chance.

most boston fans i know were realistic and understood their chances of repeating and/or getting by cleveland without KG were slim. in fact, most applauded the celtics' postseason (apart from game 7 against orlando) as it was a valiant effort.

Yea they had a good nucleus at Golden St after 07 when they made that run to the 2nd round. After trading J-Rich though that nucleus fell apart.
