Possibly, but what better for real baseball fans than two small market teams going at it...

I'm more excited about this WS than I have been in a long time. Go Rays!

Oh, and I predict Rays in 7

this WS may not draw a lot of (or any) "mainstream" fans, but it will be fun to watch regardless...Rays in 5

I have always somewhat liked philly so I guess I have at least someone I can kind of get excited for.

Understood - Obviously the ratings would of been higher...I know myself along with other Rays and Phillies fans don't mind...Screw Rupert!

Its actually the same price to fly to Tampa from Philly and go to the game...On the radio today they had a guy offer his beach house for a week (in the summer) in an upscale Jersey beach town for 2 tickets - Standing room tix are now ~$40-500 bucks...I would never sell a ticket...Im pissed I gave up my season tix last yr!

Game 1 predictions?

I'm saying 4-1 Phillies. Hamels is tough.

My dad has this special skill of buying and selling tickets on stubhub, anyways he noticed that on stubhub just minutes before the start of the ALCS game 7 in St Pete that tickets where being sold on there for $10 in a decent section. So he's hoping to get some cheap tickets on stubhub just minutes before the game. The reason this happens is that people are charging outrageous prices right now for these tickets that not many people are willing to pay. So when it comes down to it and the game is about to start and these people still haven't sold their tickets they'll drop the price and what I think happens is that not many people think to check stubhub for tickets just before the game (I never thought of it) so these tickets don't have any buyers and therefore they got to drop the prices low to get whatever they can cause selling them for $10 is better than not selling them at all. Now I don't expect to get tickets for $10 but really anything $100 and less is not a bad deal I'd like to pick something up for like $50 and be real happy then. So my dad is gonna be all over this tomorrow and might pick me and my brother up a ticket as well. I wouldn't mind showing up late and maybe missing an inning or two if the tickets are a great deal.

Shit when the lightning went to the Stanley Cup in 2004 you could buy tickets at face value for $20, gotta love the Tampa fans, they only love the bucs and all the other sports are cheap tickets.

I think he's been the best pitcher in the entire playoffs, and Kazmir struggled towards the end of the season down the stretch. Plus Philly has a slightly better bullpen.

I still think the Rays take it because of their overall pitching depth (especially at starter) and defense.

What is wrong with Rollins and Howard? Yumchah had a better chance of making contact than those two in the top of the ninth

Why does Ken Rosenthal do after game interviews? He looks like a midget circus escapee standing next to some of these guys.
