how many of you listen to Jim Rome?
I listen to his show everyday at work, and sometimes I just can't stop laughing.
3 things that made me laugh like crazy are:
1) The Donald's Smack
2) Leslie Visser's laugh
3) and when he would pretend to ask questions to that coach that kept saying "go play intramurals" & "you get a week off for July 4th, that's more than you get"
His show is great. Makes the day fly by.

It's funny when they refer to "rachael" as "him"
and last summer, I think it was college baseball playoffs... some team got schooled, like 21-3 and all he kept saying was... "PING"..... "PING"

Rome is a schmuck, he's always trying to act bad-ass. I watched him turn into the biggest bitch when Jim Everett came across the table at him.

I used to think Rome sucked too until he constantly had me laughing my ass off listening to his show. The callers get on my nerves because they all try to sound the same.
I just couldn't stand listening to Kiley and Booms when they were on Fox.

Rome took about a year for me... listening on & off... Dude is smart though, and knows his shit... unlike most of the other scrubs that are on sports talk radio.

I really enjoy his interviews with players and coaches, I think he brings out the real person in them and lets them talk on a normal person's level, which athletes are expected not to do much of the time. For the most part the rest of the show is crap, I usually make it through the first half our on my commute to work before I turn it off. I don't hate it I just think he depends too much on the clones in recent years to write in with witty emails and texts to make the show interesting.
