Didn't Shonn Greene score a TD late in the game? He only has 2 pts on my roster whole lot of good that does, but no way in hell I'm starting Ladainian Tomlinson who hasn't done diddly poo. sorry I've been watching coach rants and Jim Mora Sr is funny as hell.

Oh and I hope you guys started Sidney Rice. WOW. 200+ yards with another 6 minutes to go in the 4th. Currently got me 28 points which is more than half of what my team put up combined so far, ugh

Argh! Hypothetically, who would you guys have started, Broncos D against the Redskins or Packers D against the Cowboys? Yeah, you'd start Denver's D too right? They only got me 2 points!

GB's D got 15 points. I benched them for Denver which as said, got 2 points

I benched Sims-Walker, thinking Darrelle Revis would shut him down and he got 10 points.... I started Nate Burleson and he got me 0 points (yes, zero)

I benched LaDainian Tomlinson after he scored a whopping 2 points last week against a Giants D with injuries, and I bench him this week against the Eagles' #10 ranked run defense and LT gets 21 I lost by 16 points.... if I started LT instead of that bastard Shonn Greene I would have won. or is LT the bastard?

Have Green Bay's D and Atlanta's D.
Started Atlanta...I mean they're playing Captain Interception.
Atlanta: -2
Green Bay: 18
Cost me the match-up and my possible run to the 8th play-off spot.

Oh well I knew I would lose this week in 'injured' after Cutler's 'please bench me' performance on Thursday.

At least I am moving up in my most important league with all my buddies (12 person). Won 4 straight in that one.

I feel your pain. I have Drew Brees, Randy Moss, and Ronnie Brown and still managed to lose by 20 points. This team started off so promising. I started out 4-0, now I am 5-5.

what waiver wire pickup system do you guys use and prefer? waiver rank where if you pick someone up you move to the back of the q or by team rank where the worst teams get first choice?

my gm just changed our system to team rank and it's impossible to get anyone, not like there are many guys worth picking up in our 14 team league.

i think we've been using this method:

last place team has highest priority on the waiver wire. (i want to say that this is determined after the first week.) once that team picks up a waiver, he moves to the end of the list.

We've been using team rank, and it works pretty well to maintain parity.

Need some advice.

I'm thinking about making a trade for a receiver. Our league allows trading picks in the next draft, thereby giving the teams at the bottom incentive to trade since transactions cost money. Some WRs that could be had:

Miles Austin
Marques Colston
Greg Jennings

I'd rank them in that order but do you think Austin will fade down the stretch as teams adjust to him? Do you think Jennings can bounce back? Are the Saints too deep to rely on Colston week in and week out?

If you take out the crazy big week Austin had when he burst onto the fantasy scene, he's about the same as Colston in terms of average score per week.

Colston has pissed me off lately since he is soo inconsistant, when he comes up he comes up big but like weeks like last weekend he isn't worth starting sometimes. He is still Brees's #1 target so, id stick with him. Id trade Jennings out of the list but what do you want to get out of the trade?

I don't know.... I like Austin because aside from Witten, he's really the only other big play receiver for the Cowboys. The Saints on the other hand, their star receiver changes every week, and same with the Packers. Austin has the most upside

Just what I think... I'm the farthest thing from a Cowboys fan, and I only keep track of the Saints because I'm a fan of Brees and the Packers because Rodgers is on my roster.

I'm looking to solidify my WR corps, which is weak after I traded Welker for Daniels and Sims-Walker.

Looking to trade someone like Manningham and a 2010 draft pick for a better WR.

Yeah, my group thought I was crazy at the beginning of the year; but, they have been averaging 8+ points for me a week (16 last week). For D/ST, anything above 0 is a positive thing

Need help deciding. Too many choices. I need to pick 3.

Brandon Jacobs vs ATL
Kevin Smith vs Clev
Beanie Wells vs STL
Ladell Betts vs Dal
A.Bradshaw vs ATL

Wells and Betts both got me 40+ points last week. Also, I've started Smith and Jacobs every week in my 1 & 2 spots. Not sure what to do this week.

I think Wells for sure since STL is so weak. Even Reggie Bush went nuts against them last week. Bradshaw for sure no. I'm not a big Smith fan but it is Cleveland. Hasn't Jacobs been sucking? Betts not sure if Portis is out and I'd have to look up how RBs do against Dallas.

I wouldn't count on Portis starting this week or even next. Zorn said he was "very doubtful," and the league is really careful with the attention on concussions these days.

I might hate myself for this later but I benched Chad 85 since he's going up against Nnamdi and subbed in LT against the Broncos run D which has been sloppy of late, allowing a bunch of 100, 150+ yard runners. Make your kid proud LT

oh and its bittersweet, but I started the Packers D and Aaron Rodgers against my 49ers. I still have faith but its just on paper, sadly it's a better play than the Broncos D against the Chargers
