I'll take a stab.

Do you know about most players in MLB? If so, use that knowledge to compete. Basically you draft a bunch of players. 1B, 2B, SS, etc and pitchers. You try to lead in all the stats. The league commissioner picks the stats at the beginning of the year like HR's, RBI's, ERA, etc. If there's 10 teams the team that leads in HR gets 10 while 2nd gets 9, 3rd 8, etc. Whoever has the highest total (you want to lead in all categories) at the end of the year wins. Understand?

I did fantasy baseball for the 1st time last season and it was a ton of fun. Yahoo makes it VERY easy to draft, and you basically just have to set your roster depending on matchups and who's hot/not, etc.
