JMT - I really like Man Us mid, though their backs leave things open a bit too many times. I agree Essien is a stud - his off the ball speed is nuts (see yesterdays game where he was charging up the sides like a mad man).
My prediction stands as I think Chelsea will be too busy trying to keep the ball out of their own end to get enough sustained drives forward.

i'm interested to see if the formations change. for instance united go 4-4-2 in england, but in europe they've played 4-5-1. so its a europe final.... but against english competition haha. i'd imagine both sides pack the midfield though. booooring

middlesborough 8 - 1 man city... talk about rape omg ahahha.
lots of great action in the final day... lots of high scoring games.
birmingham and reading did their part but it looks like fulmerica also pulled off a win so they are the one of the three not being relegated. haha @ reading.
and i knew manpube would win it... and i know chelsea will win the champions league.

seriously, doesn't winning get old? I understand the CL, you've only won Europe twice, but seriously. Perhaps relocating to Italy or Spain will work?

problem is, if you're a fan and you also happen to be american, you're always going to be deemed a gloryhunter. so be it. i really don't care to justify my reasons to support the club anymore.

when arsenal were winning, did it get old? did you get tired of not losing during the unbeaten season?

JMT & Moon - The true definition of a gloray/band wagon fan is one who follows the team only when they are winning. They rep that team, but know nothing about them except the final score and that they won X trophy this year.
You two are real fans as you follow the team through thick and thin - not like a lot of people I've seen who can't even name the manager of the club.

yea inter deserved it even though they've played shitty recently... their play earlier on in the season made me think they would win the champs league.
also, ac milan didn't qualify for champs league next season. that. is. AWESOME.
the city of milan as a whole should have some interesting moves this transfer season between players & managers. anxious to see how it plays out. i fully expect mourinho to inter.

So I guess the "Young Guns" knocking out the champions of Europe was not that impressive...
oh well, such is the life of a European minnow supporter.

and personally, arsenal aren't even that young anymore.
the average age may be young because of the likes of walcott, song, traore, cesc, etc.
but the majority of their players in the first team are mid 20s except gallas.
even the arsenal players were saying this after losing to liverpool.

Arsenal were better in the first leg and were robbed of a PK. The 2nd leg was evenly played and Liverpool got their PK, questionable or not. Cannot argue that Arsenal got the short end of the stick. That's still not excuse, Liverpool got through and Arsenal were eliminated. But to say they were outplayed? Not at all...
As for today's game, maybe in my next lifetime I will support a team that pays for players and wins all the time. I'm jealous, what of it?

Liverpool > Arsenal any day in international competition.

You sound a bit bitter and I understand that, but enjoy tomorrow's game anyway.

ManUsa vs. Цхелсз :communist.
I myself will not watch, for it would hurt to much to see:
-Dirty Soviet scam-earned £ win Europe before Arsenal ever did
-ManUre win, again...
All in all, I can see United winning 2-1. Good luck to both.
