Wow. Catch any Heat games earlier this year guys? The guy still flied around without prejudice up until the day he had to shut it down. In all reality, it seems he came back from his knee and shoulder surgeries to soon since we started off terrible. Or turrble if you ask his best bud Chuck.

however, it is a concern how he keeps picking up different injuries. whether it's from coming back too soon and not healing properly or if it's his body or if it's his style of play, it is a concern.

There's a different between players like T-Mac (19 wins with the same roster LBJ took to the conf finals) and d-wade (fall down 6 times get up 0) who absolutely can't do anything with shitty players
...and players l ike LBJ (same players as tmac last year and took them past detroit) and kobe (kobe kept his lakers teams in the playoffs)
...so yeah, d-wade isn't really a has-been but a neverhasbeen?

personally, i wouldn't put wade in the has-been or declining category until we see what he can do while fully healthy. unfortunately, as stated above, being healthy is becoming a concern.
but people act like wade's a career failure. give him an opportunity to at least carry a team for once. how do we know if he can or can't carry a team if he hasn't even had a chance to?

but you're argument that he can't carry a team is ok? Let's judge him based on a couple of injury riddled seasons.

Chris Webber missed several games early in his career like Wade. He might not be a lock for HOF (however very possible) but for most of his career was considered a superstar. Plus he has no rings while Wade has one. Be patient people.
The teams who won the NBA Finals had more than one star so I dont understand the logic that Wade needed Shaq to win it all. How does that made Wade not a star? Even Jordan needed Pippen although Jordan did most of the heavy lifting. Both considered superstars. How do you compare Toni Kukoc to Wade? LOL wasn't Wade Finals MVP? 2nd Team All-NBA twice and 3rd Team once? 4 time All Star. He's only played 5 years and in 3 of them Top 12 MVP voting. 2nd Team All Defense once.

obviously, labeling a player as a "superstar" is subjective.
now, while i'm not so sure that wade belongs in the kobe, lebron category, i think he's in that next tier alongside the likes of melo and tmac.
the wade analogy to kukoc is weak.
a better one would be: shaq couldn't win a ring without kobe and vice versa.

True. LBJ and Kobe are top of the heap. I would define Wade, Melo, etc as superstars. But Monta Ellis or B Diddy over Wade. B Diddy was another guy always hurt. Healthy the last 2 years he's better than Wade? He's only been to the All Star game twice in 9 years. FYI this year Wade has a better PPG average, had a better FG%, and almost as many assists while playing SG when Jason Williams is the starting PG. Clearly Golden State is more talented but I'm sure Don Nelson would take Wade over either.

people still can't spell his first name correctly: dwyane. i guess you can't be a superstar if people don't even know how to spell your name.
as for baron davis, i dunno. i'd rather have wade. but wade's more of a sg, and davis is more of a pg. funny, though, because they're not that different in size.
but i give respect to davis. he did his thing with the hornets and the warriors now.

WTF
I have just lost all respect for DWade. If this is true then he should lose all his endorsements and be banned from the league!
"Dwayne Wade Dating Star Jones"
According to a person affiliated with the Miami Heat organization, Star Jones has been picking up Dwayne after most of their recent home games. The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "[Dwayne's] teammates are even joking around with him about it. They say he has to watch his back - cause Al's gonna get him."

Wade is married to his high school sweetheart Siohvaughn Funches who was his first and only serious girlfriend. However the two are currently separated, and Wade is rumored to have been dating, former television host Star Jones[52].

Dude, did you even watch that series? Won it because of Shaq??? They won that series because of Dwayne Wade's phenomenal play, not from the 17 and 9 boards per game from Shaq.
And since when did T-Mac and Lebron switch rosters?

granted, neither player would have won the trophy without the other, but wade clearly carried that team.
i don't understand the notion that shaq led miami to that championship.
34.7ppg (third highest in finals history)
without him, they wouldn't have come back from 0-2 as he tore dallas in games 3-5.
