College World Series
The last of the 8 teams got their invite to Omaha on Monday night. For the first time in about 25 years, the defending National Champions, Oregon State, made it back from the Super Regionals. Everyone in Omaha was pulling for our hometown Creighton to make it out of the Regionals. I think that the CWS would have been pretty nutty if the hometown team was in the mix. Here are the 8 teams who did make it to the CWS:
Rice
North Carolina
Louisville
Mississippi State
Arizona State
Cal-State Fullerton
Oregon State
Cal-Irvine
Should be a fun two-weeks of partying and baseball.

it was like near 80 degrees today, and I'm AT the water... suppose to be the same for the rest of the week... maybe even warmer by thursday

It's going to be a great game today.
One half of the crowd will be yelling BEAVERS.
While the other half will be yelling EATERS.
Can't wait.
Oh, and I will be sporting a UCI hat at the game.

I'm glad to see irvine finally getting in some national news. I used to watch some baseball games there, cause I worked concessions a few times.

My HS friend plays for UVA and they lost to OSU in the regionals, and it was @ UVA! I really don't watch any of the games, just get the scores. If UVA was still in it then I'd be watching.
