The bowl games have been pretty :boring: so far. I don't expect anything exciting tonight from annually overrated Notre Dame vs FSU. But Baylor vs Washington should be good as I expect Baylor to put a big score up.

That was an awesome day of bowl games, especially the Outback, Fiesta and Rose Bowls.

Today's game vs Michigan and VT - two teams that shouldn't even be in a BCS Bowl - can't live up to yesterday

I'm a SEC fan, but in retrospect, after watching the games yesterday, I think an Oregon/LSU or OSU/LSU would be more entertaining.

oregon showed their worth against us already..

OSU's defense would have been their downfall.. they can obviously score, but they can stop other teams from putting up points, which would have been an issue.

Bama, still is the best opponent in my opinion... fair? maybe not, but still accurate.

And if Bama beats LSU, I think you have to carve the NC into pieces like a pizza.

if anything (which i just think whoever wins should get it) it should be split into halves... nobody outside of this game deserves a piece. :2cents:

I think Oregon showed last year that finesse cannot match up against smash mouth football. Sure the Ducks are fast and nimble, but when you punch them in the teeth, they fall over too easily. I think the same would go with OSU. The athleticism of the SEC can cover any caliber receiver, and the strength can push anyone around. That is why the SEC has won the last 5 BCS NCs and will win its sixth in-a-row this year.

If OSU had led the entire game last night and won by more than 8 points I would disagree, but leading for no amount of time and winning on two missed FGs doesn't give you much momentum. They don't deserve it IMHO.

Meh, I have hope. Really, we could lose 4 games next year and justifiably be ranked in the top 25.

Do you know who was calling plays on Sat? Honestly, I think if we had not seen the other 5 losses this year, there would have been no concern on Sat. We put up 27 unanswered and they responded with 15. We respond with a field goal, and everyone questions if we almost blew it. Any other season, that is a sure-handed win. And hey, 10 points in the third quarter? That is a victory in and of itself!
