That was definitely from the concussion. I thought he had "respiratory problems"?

I dont really know what the whole respiratory thing was about. Looking at his face from the start of the game he just didnt seem very well. I want to say that they just dont want to say he has swine flu for some reason. hell about half our campus has had it.

Definitely a good game. I thought Tech should have won, but poor clock management and questionable decision about going for it on 4th and 1 ultimately doomed them.

My only complaint was the fans storming the field. When your team is ranked and you beat an unranked team, you don't rush the field. Looked like amateur hour out there.

Still, it was a good game nonetheless. We'll see if Houston can continue rolling.

Yeah I can't believe he was even in the game at that point

well, it is amateur hour. UH folks aren't used to 1) being ranked and 2) beating ranked/unranked big 12 schools.

Understandable. Many KU fans aren't much better. I've always been a huge college football fan and have closely followed KU's teams, even through the bad years. Many others, however, forgot they had a football team and were just concerned with the bball team. The games at KU's memorial stadium don't quite have the same intensity as other more traditional power, even taking into account the smaller size. It does seem to be getting better, I guess we'll see.

Good luck with the rest of the season, Houston's a fun team to watch.

Houston has never played Texas Tech so that may have something to do with it.. I did question why they rushed the field since they were the ones that were ranked

yea, there's just so much hype. i've been in houston for 14 years (well 10, if i don't include college years in austin), and i've never heard a peep about UH football until now.

folks are really excited here. and even though TT isn't ranked, it's still a "big" in-state program and thus, a rival.

add the drama to the ending of the game, and you have fans that are nuts. plus beer.

i just hope the fans don't feel like they need to storm the field after every game.

But the state no longer has the big three.. more like the 1.3. I'm giving Miami credit because this should be the best year they'll have in a while. Jacory Harris (QB) also looks like the real deal.

but i do believe miami will be back. Eventually. And when they do UF should schedule games with them instead of fsu. I know its tradition but fsu hasnt really had a productive year in the last few years. they dont seem to be improving either

LSU should thank the refs for taking over the game.

Let the kids celebrate as long as they don't do anything offensive. Green didn't even do anything. I've seen guys do a lot more than what Green did, and nothing was called. If LSU drove down the field and won without the ref assist, then I'd be perfectly fine with the L.

I have heard that they are cracking down on celebrations. Apparently there is some sort of imaginary line as to what constitutes "excessive" and they crossed it. I will be the first to tell you that LSU doesn't deserve to be ranked #4 but I think they would have at least gotten a field goal on that last drive.
Either way I love SEC football.

PS LSU is no match for FLA next week. I think Tebow will silence Death Valley quickly.

What's bad about the rankings is that 3 of top four teams are from the SEC. Given parity and a conference championship game, it's too bad that you can't have a national championship game from a single conference which may have the best teams.

+1. Many times the SEC championship game is better than the NC.
