BCS Games Stink so Far this Year!

As a college football fan, the non-BCS bowl games have been much more exciting this year. Last second plays. OT, etc.

I'd bet the GMAC bowl will be better than either the NC or Orange Bowl.

Michigan vs Florida game was good. I can hope that KU wont disappoint tonight but they prob will

MU should have gotten a BCS game. The cotton bowl was a joke. MU has such a dynamic offense I would of loved to see them face someone with a better D cough... V Tech maybe !?!?

I cant believe I just posted all of that MU loving nonsense

with the OP. First you need 4+ hours and second, where's the defense?

West Virginia may be the best in the country with their speed.

Yeah the Kansas/VT was the best of the BCS games so far.

I'm still mad for missing the Michigan/Florida game, that's one of the games I really wanted to see.

When you put 460 yards and 40 points up each week you don't need much in terms of defense. Not many teams are going to be able to match those stats.

They're also 6th in the NCAA with points allowed.... only 17.3/game

1) Rutgers (7-5) is playing Ball State..
2) Cincinatti I'll give you...
3) Connecticut lost to Wake Forest
4) Oklahoma was a legit win, but they did have a Freshman QB who looked like he didn't belong there. Plus it doesn't help that OU has lost 4 BCS games in a row.. The only way they'll make it to another BCS game is winning the Big 12.. I doubt they'll get an at large bid.

All ranked teams though... you don't consistantly put up those kinds of stats on both sides of the ball if you don't have legit talent.

I'm not discounting their talent at all. Auburn (my team) has to go play @ WVU next year, which should be fun. Their offense has a lot of stars and is very productive. Slaton hasn't been a big factor this year, but Pat White is the star of the offense as shown in the Pittsburgh game.

Because Slayton is sharing the carries with Devine... who averaged 8.6 yard/carry.

And Pat White is just a machine.

Slaton had 1 carry in the BCS game.
9 against Pittsburgh for 11 yards.
10 against Connecticut for 54 yards.

Seems like he fizzled off toward the end of the year.. I don't think they used him enough against Pittsburgh.

back on topic.

these bcs games remind me of the recent ncaa tournaments.

the best games are the non "elite" games, while the actual bcs games or final four games are duds.

That's what happens when you have tradition (Rose Bowl) and team who feel they belong although they played an incredibly soft schedule (Hawaii).

LSU should not have been in that game. It total BS and I am not even an OSU fan. They lost twice. Alot of teams should have been there and would have handled LSU

OSU did not deserve to be there. They looked horrible. Very disappointing BCS this year.

Did you guys notice Jamarcus Russell @ halftime? wut a douche. He wears a dashiki and has a "BAMA BOY" necklace on. Way to support your Alma mater, asshat.

More like OverratedSU should not have been there. They were never challenge all season. They lost to Illinois who got spanked by USC..

I'm hoping that these past couple of years stay fresh in the pollsters minds when voting for Oklahoma or Ohio State.. their performances these past couple of years have been very bad in BCS games. I know of the automatic tie ins if they win their conference, but if either one is competing for a NC spot then I say

I missed that, I stopped watching after halftime. I caught the middle of the 4th quarter and to no surprise LSU was blowing them out. Ohio State is very overrated.

Overall, I agree with the title of this thread. The only good BCS game was the Va Tech/Kansas game.

i think a new rule should be in affect......if you get spanked in two national championship games in a row, you are automatically out of the top 25
