Pinnacle, hands down is the best site for sportswagering. The games are graded ASAP, they also have fast payouts (10mins).

Norally its a good idea to have 2-4 books, so you can get the best odds out there. Make sure Pinnacle is one of them.

Honorable Mentions: BetJamaica, 5 dimes, BetCris.

Chinoz….I know there is a lot of doubters, yeah yeah, they lost to Montana ST., but then again, CSU didn’t play any powerhouse either in Weber ST. These in-state games are BIG in Colorado, they always play at Invesco Field (where the broncos play), I’m sure the Buffs want to get that DIV 2 asswipping monkey off of their back, and they will prove it today. Too many backers on CSU anyways, and 9/10 years CU is always the better time (I could be bias though, being a CU grad!) GL for all today!

i think this thread should be utilized more with user picks....

im taking the skins on MNF at -4.5, they are a strong team and even without portis i think they cover the spread. as much as i hate them, i can cash in on them tmw.

skins -4.5 2 units

I agree NY, maybe we should start a new thread for 2006 NFL/COLLEGE picks and inslight????

I think WASH is a very solid time too. However, they are one of those teams with a GREAT defense but a mediocre offense. Not having Portis is a big blow, now they only have Moss as the only game breaker. If there is no major turnovers by MIN, this game will be close, and that is how coach Gibbs play his game (he is old school, a win is a win, no matter if it is by 21 or by 1). Therefore I’m on:

MIN +4.5

I am also taking the other dog in this card tonight. I know Oakland is on the downside, however Rivers is still very green, even though his is his 2 or even 3 years maybe, this is his first real start. And what I saw in preseason, he is no where close to where Drew Brees was. Also, with Brooks as the new QB for Oakland, it should improve the offense. How can you not take Oakland +3.0 with MOSS/PORTER at WR, and JORDON in the backfield and playing in the BLACKHOLE???

OAK +3.0

Alright guys, its THUR and the start of the Football week!!!

You guys have any idea on tonight's game??? WV/MD???

The public is killing this line (Public 80%+ on WV), and i'm not sure if i want to jump on the bandwagan.

The line open at WV -14.5, and now at most sites it is passing 18, and some 18.5. I know WV has a powerhouse running team, but MD is decent on Offense and pretty good(a lot of return staters on D) on defense. Also, with two teams that run a lot (plus the new game clock rules) I will take a chance on both:

MD +18.5 (Choinz, i hope they win by only 17???) GL buddy!
U 50.5

If you took the lean, you got the lucky win!

I took your ILL (-2.5 120), and ARK (-5.5) picks! so i hope we hit those, and you hit the rest! GL brother

Give me some inslight as in why you think KY is a X 2 play? It looks to be a pretty even game, and what i saw in KY vs LOU wasn't that good. But hey, that was vs. LOU

Like KY at home vs Ole Miss team returning only 10 starters.

better overall talent, especially at skill positions...

should win by at least a touchdown.

i also dabble in college fball and bball. just found this thread but my college fball picks this past weekend were michigan +5.5, fsu -4, tcu -1.5, fla -3.5, so basically i went 2wins - 2loses. ill come post my picks for next weekend in this thread.

Moonraker: Glad to see your on board, we need more input on NCAA/NFL from all the Acurazine capper. There has to be more guys who play then just me, Chinoz and Nugs.

I just started a account with Bodog.com, they have GREAT lines if you like playing dogs. Always get .5 to 1.5 if you play the doggy.

Lets get more picks on this board:

NFL:

1st half PIT/JAX UNDER 18.5

Thanks bud! I had a real rough College SAT last week though. I lost so many close game, what made it worest was I lost like 4 games by less then 1 points!!!

BYU +6.5 (BC 30-23) L
DUKE +35.5 (VT 36-0)L
BG -5.5 (BG33-28)L
CLEM/FSU (27-20)L (Under 44)
CLEM could have just get the FG with 8 sec left and won it that way.

You get lucky and win those games, you up the upside, you get the bad bounce, you are in the black for the weekend, GL and lets get some info on the games before SAT/SUN!!!

ok i got some semi early NFL picks for this weekend

past few picks ive had (but werent posted here bc i just found this thread) were cowboys v redskins under 36.5 and the game score was totaled 37pts SON OF A haha. also took jax +3 for the win on the most recent MNF

so, 1-1 so far. anyways, here are my early picks. colts vs jax goin with Under 44.5 here. jax defense has looked solid, and these two match up well.

bears -2.5 at vikings. bears look good but exactly how good are they? i think they can at least cover this spread although it should be a tough test on vikings turf

giants at seahawks.. goin with under 44.5 here as well. seattle plays well at home, but their O line is questionable at times and im not expecting some huge offensive production, plus theres lots of boring statistics that point to the under here anyways

contemplating taking ravens -6.5 but im not too sure about that one quite yet. it is against the browns after all

not sure about the under... Indy defence can't stop anyone and at home you'd expect them to be able to move the ball.
Last year score was 10-3 in indy though.... too much of a toss up for me..

All i know is that road chalk in NFL sucks.. expect browns to compete in this game..

I think i'll have my college picks up tomorrow..

anyone else got any hidden gems?!?

Moon: GL on the under's buddy!!! I did 4 under plays last week too, came up a lucky 2-2, I say it was lucky cuz the rest of the games went all over.

I like your CHI pick, very solid! I am on that too! SEA/NYG Under is solid reverse call; since I know everyone will be on the “over” since both teams scored a lot of points last week.

I really hate to play IND on O/U. Their offense is pure scoring on almost every drive. But their defense is like a big bucket trying to hold water. So much leaking....JAX move pretty easy against a very good PIT defense won't have trouble vs. IND, and these guys are PUMP for this game.

Chinzo: damn bro, you get those up early! I normally don't finalize my picks still FRI nite or early SAT for the best line. Come back again on FRI nite for my NCAA Under’s!hahahahah You get a lot of value in playing under in College.

So glad your on Purdue (-2.5), that was one of my early pick already!!!

Purdue line I expect to drop back down to opening line, so just trying to get the best I can get... I will also play some on the ML..

i just did a semi spur of the moment 6pt teaser for ncaa

chinoz im gonna go against your GT pick hah and go with va +22 now, thats the first part of my teaser. i think they can hold a 3 td lead, or i hope... i know they suck but we'll see. threw purdue in there as the other part of the teaser bc thats a solid pick as well, will prob play that individually too. but for the teaser its +8.5

leaning towards a few dogs this week:
whats everyone's take on kstate louisville? kstate is a tough stadium to play in, and they are decent, but louisville is lookin solid. think kstate can hold it to 2tds? i am tempted to take kstate, someone talk me out of it

also, iowa state texas.... iowa state held it vs iowa last time, but tx is a better team than iowa and its at tx. however, i will argue that the iowa st/iowa is a big rivalry game to begin with so they were playin their hearts out. +25 seems generous there, im torn on this one since it is at tx.

lastly, another dog that caught my eye was troy +24 vs nebraska. sure nebraska lost to usc and will be ready to rock, but i dont think they are as good as people give them credit for. and i also think troy is underrated, that is the team that held fsu to a very tight game. so thats another one i will toss out there. im not sure about these i will decide on them tomorrow but just thought id throw em out there for possible discussion or feedback. dogs on the road are such a hard pick sometimes

Alright guys, lets get the football week started right. A very interesting ACC match up with G Tech and Virginia. This looks like a mismatch game from the spread (VIG +17.0), however G Tech isn’t a team that knows or wants to lay it on thick when they win. They are a very solid running team, with the QB Bell and RB Choice. However there’s breaking new injury of WR C. Johnson., which could cause GT t be a pure running team tonight. Virginia doesn’t move the ball well; however their starting QB is starting to get comfortable with the system. If Virginia doesn’t have tones of turnovers, this should be a close throughout (if not, I’m hoping for backdoor cover). Hence my picks:

VIR +17.0
Under 39.5

GL guys!
