Mann, this thread is getting me to want to start collecting again. I've tried to calm down a bit the past year or so.

I will definitely be getting at least 2 pairs of the 12s coming out and try to get 2 of the Space Jams (3, 11, 12 are my favorite). However, the below quote may get me to hold off on the 11s...


This is right on point. I consider myself an expert on Jordans, and the current retros are just not up to par at all, especially the Bred 11s that were in the package. I got the package and the moment I took the 11s out of the box to inspect them, I was disgusted. The mesh material on the top was damn near like plastic, the leather on the heel was like cardboard, and the patent leather looked like shit. I have almost all the of the 11s (OG and Retro) and the ones that were in the package looked like absolute shit compared to them. Honestly, if I didnt actually buy them at a store, I would think that they were fake. Needless to say... I sold the package.

So we'll see what happens with the upcoming Space Jams, hopefully Jordan Brand reverts to the old way (and quality way) of making J's

^^NEVER trust anyone who says they can hold them for you!! They are all bullshit artists.

To follow up on my post from 7 months ago... the Space Jams unfortunately were made just like the 11s in the package - LIKE SHIT. What's even worse, they failed on the quality of the 12s as well. I ended up buying none of them, and for me to pass up 11s AND 12s... that's something serious. IMO, Jordan Brand has failed miserably.

the guy that was supposed to hold them has always come through for my friend. he couldn't this time because of the demand.

and yea, i know the quality sucks. but i still want a pair after missing out the last two times.

I didn't even attempt to get them. I barely wear the space jams that I got from the last drop and other than the discolored sole they still look new.

you're probably better off with 00/01 release anyways.

i still play in my 01 bred XIs. not all the time, but it's part of my rotation. still looks good and hasn't falled apart.
