2008 NCAA Basketball Tournament Discussion
So who got screwed? Easiest path to final 4?? Best matchup?
Certainly the most talked about game will be USC-KState.. Mayo, Beasley.

Yea. I got some great games to watch here in Omaha.
1. Kansas vs. 16. Portland State
8. UNLV vs. 9. Kent State
6. USC vs. 11. Kansas State
3. Wisconsin vs. 14. UC Fullerton

This is the best sporting event. I love this time of year. And Kansas State vs. USC (Beasley vs. Mayo) will be the game to watch on Day 1.

Illinois State at 24-9 gets screwed. Butler at a 7 seed got screwed. Wisconsin at a 3 seed got screwed.
Oregon at a 9 is too high, Arizona should've missed the whole thing and they get a 10. South Alabama is too high with a 10 seed.
Ole Miss is better than Villanova or Baylor. And I'm already tired of hearing Arizona St. and Virginia Tech got jobbed. Arizona State played almost nobody non-conference, and VT only played UNC, Duke, and Clemson once and still lost 13 games.
And Bob Knight sucks as a studio guy.

is it just me or is this one of the harder tourneys to pick in terms of picking the champion? I can see any number of teams getting there if a few upsets took place. can't decide, who's everyone pickin to take it?

At this point I am pretty hardpressed to find a team who matches up well against UNC.
I like the teams with good big men in the Tourney. I think they are the deciding factors.

yea see i've been watching ku all year and they've got the depth and balance to go far... but the last few years they never can seem to take it that extra step to the final4 or championship game. only reason i think they could make it would be because the seniors this year have the hunger after being frustrated so many years.
also think ucla can get pretty far. they've done well in the tourney numerous years in a row so they'll go deep.
memphis is good but i think they'll lose to texas, especially if its in houston.
what about georgetown or wisconsin? those are two teams i wish i'd seen more of this year and i can't decide how far they each go. anyone seen em a lot?
