i really want the Ultra Sc for a 2002 TL-S for 195 shipped. anyway that can happen? 230 isnt that great of a deal seeming as how its going for 210 online.
It'd be nice to see it a little cheaper!

Is there a stock sized pulley for an 08 MDX? the engines should be the same on an 07 and 08, but your application says it's only for the 07? please inform, thanks.

Sorry just had to ask before I buy.
Is it safe to install this on a stock base TL 04
powering 1500+ watts so I would need the stock size just lightweight
Would this increase HP & TQ?
Will be getting jpipe and other bolt ons later, just wanted to know best bang for the buck.
Also have around 124k miles

You will make about 7-10 hp/tq. It is a great bang for the buck although the j-pipe is probably the best mod you could get for the car.

Quick question. I took the stock diameter pulley that I bought to my mechanic. He said he STRONGLY advises me not to install this because he said it might make the idle rougher since there isn't the stock harmonic balancer in the pulley and if the engine isn't re-adjusted and balanced that it could affect my rods and potentially brake my motor. He also said for my high milage (129,120 Miles) that I shouldn't start modding my engine a lot since it might not last that much longer. Pretty much advising me that this part would strain my engine more. (Kind of sort of explained to me something about my rpms being heigher or going faster up and down which would hurt my engine if not balanced etc...) I honestly wanted more Hp and Tq for the least cost thats why I bought it. Just was looking for the best opinion for my situation. If it would strain the motor more and make it idle hard, I might have to sell it. Looking to keep my TL for a lot longer thats why. Just looking for a honest opinion if I should install or not. Wont hurt me if I have to sell it. I already have it lol. Thank you
[QUOTE=Excelerate;14289563]Yes it is safe. You would want the stock diameter pulley so you don't underdrive the accessories.

The pulley will not affect the idle and the motor is internally balanced. I think your mechanic is more domestic-oriented. Domestic cars have crank pulleys that balance, but your motor simply uses a basic crank pulley with a rubber ring, which dampens noise.
There are J-series owners with 200k+ with a lightweight crank pulley with no issues. There's no reason for you to have an issue. And as long as your motor is in good shape and compression is good you can mod all you want.
