So.. picking up my '01 CLS tomorrow and joining the cult. I just want to make sure I understand this correctly... if i want to integrate my Zune dock into the the stock stereo and have the video output show up in the nav screen.. i just need this and a 12v power source to charge the player? sorry if this has been answered before, but i'm a noob to the brand.. i searched and didn't find any straight answers.

Just wanted to add something to the install instructions. I have been working on this for two days now, and found the easiest way to connect the audio, is through the auxiliary in the center console. The blue wire serves as the ground, the yellow is the white plug, and the green is the red plug. You must splice the red and white plugs and separate the positive and ground cables. The positive cables are the one wrapped in the middle. The ground cables are wrapped around the center. Once I soldered these on to the proper color wires, my aux switch worked like a charm. I can listen to all radio, cd's, ipod, etc. The only thing I have to make sure is that I can not unplug the aux cable if I want to listen to a movie. This proved to be a money saver for me. The pie 3 unit was around 60 bucks and I would have to figure out how to hide it and install it. Since I had to take half of my car apart to run the cables this seemed to be the easiest and most efficient method. I hope this helps any of you that will be installing the unit.
