We have AT available now, I just need to put them up on the site. Contact me to order, PM or call. They are missmatched at the moment, fronts are slotted and rears are slotted and drilled. The fronts alone and hawks all around are a great setup. We just installed this setup on TLMikeys car last weekend.
MT should be coming soon!

Do you happen to have the rear rotors for sale separetly? If so, what are we looking at as far as price is concerned?
FYI: The tire shop found a local shop to get my wheels replaced, so I'm good to go per our conversation last week!!!

Sure, we can do that...price is about $65 each I think. Shipping about $10 each.
Good man, sorry for the lag again. Your brace is shipping out today tho!

If only it were Marcus doing the design, casting, developement, testing and certification of the new rotors- we would have them!
Alas, it remains in the hands of corporate folk who insist things be perfect before product release. Stupid U.S. Liabilty Laws!
Soon it is hoped- send good thoughts to Racing Brakes engineers!!!

I'd like to purchase the combo deal for my 2003 TL. I know this is a dumb question but does the fact that I have 18" wheels have anything to do with the rotors or will any rotors made for a 2003 TL fit without any problems?

The hats are part of the rotors actually. New hats are "included."

To see the actual RB 1 piece for TL on a car, click the link for above post or look at MrHeelToe's other thread for my post/pics of these brakes.
Went for fun run to Yosemite Natl Park, its good to live near such great roads and be able to test each mod to the TL!
I always tell people to go to each makers website, check the tech info on construction and features.
The companies on ebay and even other MAJOR brand names use the fancy words, but I cant find anything that says who really makes their rotors and how they are modified.
You can know more about brakes and the different types of cooling vanes by reading the pages on www.racingbrake.com
and all about different types and uses of brake pads at www.hawkperformance.com
An educated consumer is the best customer
Then call Marcus direct for any other info and place your order for the brakes that work and last. 1-949-295-1668 or PM him or marcus@heeltoeauto.com
The SS brake lines improve pedal feel-reduce mushiness feel, and are worth the small investment to change at the time and flush your brake fluid too.
Prevent unexpected car shortening- have GREAT brakes

guys i bought the rear slotted rotors from rb earlier this week. My mechanic went to put them on and told me they didn't fit properly. He said that the holes didn't line up properly and that he has to drill holes in them so they can fit. Have any of you guys heard of this problem? Or do you think RB maybe screwed up and gave me the wrong rotors?
#73
the holes dont fit lol
ASSUMING you have checked the part # on the box and the rotor itself against RBs website and it all say the correct thing then:
Your mechanic- and I am using the term very loosly here
DOESNT KNOW
You are talking about the 2 screw holes right?- they are NOT required for
installing the new rotors. In fact, many members without impact screwdrivers simply DRILL the old screws out! The screws are for factory convenience while assembling car.
The wheel holds the rotor to the axle, so as long as the lug nuts are 80 ft lbs you are good.
Just wait till you try to get the front rotor screws out
As long as the center hub fits over the parking brake shoes and everything else is the same size- its simply a matter of- this rotor fits more than the TL and not all holes will match. Many car parts are that way
Maybe go to a mechanic who knows these cars and how to adjust the special parking brake- not one who cant figure out how to remove the rotor because the p-brake is adjusted out too far

Brake rotor hole clarification
To be clear- I was thinking- dont laugh it happens,
when I realized there is ONE critical opening in the rear brake rotor hub-
Its the opening for a brake adjusting tool/screwdriver to fit in and tighten up the parking brake. That hole should have had a rubber plug in it on the original rotor when first checked.
Other than that- in my 30 plus years of auto and airplane maitenance and performance work
NEVER have I drilled any holes in a heat treated special alloy brake rotor
Did the part numbers check out?
A call to RB- since you are in NJ, I am guessing you bought direct from the factory
Humans make mistakes- thats why everything has a part number on it
Let us know what happens!

There is a new thread on the 2piece install with pics
The wrong rear rotors were shipped and replacements on the way
Marcus wants to be sure everything is perfect by installing a full set himself.
As soon as thats done it will be posted in every forum!
In the meantine CALL him- 1-949-295-1668 pacific time zone
He gets so many emails and PM's that the fastest way to reach him is on the phone
Ask to reserve a set- MAKE A DEPOSIT- whatever it takes!!!
A side note- I see many people asking about group buy-
"in my experience" thats usually when everyone (10 to 50 or more people) put money up front and waited for an order together- group buy- get it?
Marcus will still have the best deal going on RacingBrake and its related parts.
RB is more than a brake maker- they call themselves Brake Integrators- All the lines and pads and parts are put in a box together for your convenience

On a side note the manager Warren from Racingbrake was fantastic! He was very concerned with making sure I was happy and even offered to open up for me on Saturday to take a look at them. I work all day on Saturdays (retail sucks ) so I couldn't take advantage but that's when he offered for me to come down at my earliest convenience and he would have his guys put them on for me at no charge! I love the service! The front rotors and pads are awesome, my girlfriend just bought a TSX and I'm going to put new rotors and pads on her ride. The saga shall continue!!

Good to hear they are great at the factory level.
All Humans make errors- thats how we learn.
Be sure to follow the bedding-brake pad break in procedure EXACTLY as described in the directions with your Hawk Pads.
The cooling down 20 minute drive immeditaly following the super-heat is a must, and there can be no complete stops between the 2
This transfers a layer of pad material to the rotor and makes for better stopping
www.hawkperformance for full details.
Your rotors were heat treated at the factory so no special break in on them
After that- they are ready to go anywhere you want!
just get to know your new brakes and as they get some miles on them- they actually work even better.
Enjoy, and look at a set of Cusco frame stiffners for both cars, take advantage of all the handling improvement tires and shocks and bars can make!
