You can get an identical HID kit on Ebay for under $150. I have had 12,000K mains and 12,000k fogs for over a year now without a problem. I seriously doubt the brand new really matters-HID is HID. Phillips owns the patents and exclusive rights anyways-the aftermarket companies just provide the bulb base.

Actually no they are not identical. The quality is sub par. Every part of those kits are assembled in China or different companies. Also none of those companies have the certifications that KAIXEN does nor the technology.

Kaixen is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer that develops and builds its own components. It currently holds E13, TUV, and QS9000 quality certifications. It is the only other company in the world (other than Phillips) to have developed the diamond-shape bulbs.

Kaixen HID kits were first sold using Philips/Matshushita ballasts and bulbs starting in 1999. Since then, Kaixen has recieved its own license as well as hiring several key engineers from Germany to develop its own high quality ballast / bulbs since 2002. As stated above, KAIXEN is the only other company other than Philips to develop the diamond-cut bulbs. Kaixen is ISO2001 registered, E13 certified, and KQA quality assurance certified. All kits are made direct from the factory, and are not "rebased" as most Philips HID kits are made. The HID kits come with 1-year full replacement warranty.

I'm sure it is redundant to say by now but my I installed my 8000k Kaixen HIDs about 2 weeks ago and they are absolutely great. NIGHT and DAY compared to my ebay bulbs that still had a good amount of life left. Also great brightness and little glare, especially since an 8000k color temp is prone to problems with both of those. These bulbs are worth every penny and highly reccomended. Great customer service and shipping from excelerate.

I have the Kaixen 6000k in my 01TL, only needed the bulbs-
still less than 100 hours of their "burn in " time on them so far-
but hands down,
the best headlights I have ever had.

Other cars on the freeway have brown puddles of light, while I have a white with blue tint (easy on the eyes and doesnt reflect in rain-fog) and the fullness of the light on the ground- combined with the blue, picks up road lane markings and the white stripe markers on semi trucks like you wont believe

Only a few cars on the road have better lighting than me now, and they are very pricey rides. Recently made and older cars, try to run with me just so they can see the road!

Josh has an excellent product here- do whatever it takes for your car to have them

^forgot to mention the reflectors.. they really do glow like crazy- When going down the freeway you can easily see the lane/shoulder/sign reflectors a quarter mile ahead of you

do you only have the D2C bulbs? i know they fit both the D2R and D2S, but i hear you should not use them in D2R because they are missing some kind of anti glare strip.

$150 shipped to the US and $160 shipped to Canada. That is the price for the low beam HID D2C bulbs.

Well I can either sell you some Password JDM fog lights with a yellow housing or you can get some OE ones and then I can sell you an HID kit for the OE setup.

Alrighty, couple of quick questions.

I'm debating on the colors. I want to go with the blue look for my car. The 6000k look a little blue in itself, but how blue are they? Are the 8500k legal? Will I get pulled over for having these installed?

Sorry you will need to get a replacement ballasts from the dealer or the junkyard. These are conversion kits for non HID vehicles or HID replacement bulbs.

The 6000k is extreme white w/ a hint of blue. The 8500k is extreme blue. Changing bulb color to a bluer tint is not illegal from what I know. I have 8500k on my Accord and 5000k on my Civic Si and I have no problems at all.

The D2C bulbs are $150 shipped. You have HID's in the low beams so you only need the bulbs, not the entire kit. Both kelvin bulbs are $150.

If you just need your HID low beam bulbs replaced it is $150 for a pair of 6500 or 8500K D2C bulbs. If you need a HID conversion kit for your high beams or fog lights they are $300 shipped.
